Oh sure you can use them for your releases. I would be honored! I can't seem to get HQ results with out stopping halfway through chapters I attempt to clean..
Oh, you can clean? We could use another cleaner for Vagabond (which means you won't be working by yourself on the whole chapter, just a few pages). We're behind in releasing the last chapter because the raw was worse than usual and Devin was very busy lately. Let me know if you're interested.
And I will put my suggestions for pages to color here. I just didn't have the time to look through my folders, sorry.
Most proably he will be there before the time scheduled for the duel, hidden in the bushes. Then he will jump out of nowhere and will kill the official duellist (Ueda here ? Too bad it's not a kid like in the book or IRL) to destroy the Yoshioka's motivation. then he will cut and slash his way out of the bunch, and will use his dual swords style to keep them away whilst fleding (and he'll use the good old "hit and run" tactic)
As long as Gonzo isn't making the animation I would be all for it.
I would prefer the OVA format only because they wouldn't have to adhere to time constraints(tv series, movies) and because the length could be as long as they needed without having to worry about sponsore and what not.
I read the English version, it had to be unabridged because it was like 1200 pages in small print. I found it at Barnes and Noble with no problem. Very good book, I liked it better than the manga, but that's just me.
i was really hoping for the 70x1 battle , maybe he is spoted by some yoshioka, maybe Akemi , and she tell the clan where he is going. She could late he or something
I think everyone *in the manga anyway* has been underestimating Ueda, and it's nice to FINALLY see him in battle. I think he got in his attack because he played mind games with Musashi. He picked on the fact Musashi lost his composure, then made him self-conscious about his breathing, took the distraction to his advantage and got a quick slash in. He backed off though because, having seen what happened to Den, he wouldn't get a limb cut off when Musashi finally drew.
Also, does that vacation prompt at the end of the manga mean he's taking a vacation NOW between this issue and the next, or does that mean he's taking ANOTHER one after the next issue?
Also it's been a long, LONG time since I've read the book but I believe
Musashi at this point has already beaten Kojiro in the first of their legendary bouts (in the manga it seemed more like they were just playing around). Also it seems that Musashi already made his "surprise" attack on the Yoshiokas with his attempt at killing Ueda (in the novel it was killing the kid that would become the heir). If memory serves me correctly his next opponent will be Gonnosuke, which is good because maybe now we can finally find out what the hell happened after Kojiro beat Koun.

Yes, you're right here. Ueda felt a weakness in Musashi's spirit, I suppose that weakness is related to Mat'hachi and Otsu.

Manga-ka never go on holidays (almost never), so he's probably drawing another volume of another manga ("Real" maybe ?) in between.

Musashi and Kojiro never fight in the novel before the very end, it's just verbal opposition, and intimidation, nothing with swords.
Musashi soon kills Gonnosuke after killing Genjiro (the kid), but he also kills Miike with his reversed slashing blow (slashing from right to left after slashing from left to right, instead of bringing the blade back to its initial position before slashing again), whereas here, Miike is already dead for two volumes.
We have no idea of how Ueda dies in the novel, btw. but he's quite aged and not really a talented swordsman there.
Really looking forward to the next issue of Vagabond !
He beat the two brothers, but that was all about the way of the sword for him, whereas the two brothers had their minds worried about other things (Holding the dojo for Seijuro, which he didn't want to do, and getting revenge upon Musashi for Den', which he knew wouldn't be possible). Now the roles are inverted, Ueda is walking on the way of the sword, whereas Musashi is worried by external things.
I suppose that soon enough he'll "think of his art only", like in volume 22 (or 23?).
yo i think that miyamoto will come back to fight
cause he loves his art and fight strong swordsmen
though the only thing which could stop him is to meet ootsu
