can't believe also that it's ending with the 13th episode. It's bad enough for Amatsuki to end at 13th, but VK as well?!?!

The second season was announced for October on the offical website (according to ANN). I renamed the threads to "First Season".

I'm a bit confused with the whole Rido-Shiki thing and whatnot... but otherwise, this chapter was pretty cool. ;D
There was a big canon moment... and we found out Yuuki's bostaff-thing is now a scythe. Awesome-ness. >D

yea, maybe her staff reacted to her pure-blood powers :> ? that would explain the form change and why it didn't reject her at the end of the chapter.

Awesomeeeee chapter, looks like Yuuki has made the decision to fight. And the chairman is fighting as well, I wanna see what sort of stuff he can do. His expression on pg 13 was awesomeee, one of the coolest looks in the entire VK manga.

And yeah, chubs191, it was the chairman with his hair down, not Zero with long hair.

I am sure chapter 42 will be interesting but I am really confused. The chapters are just too far apart for me to remember what is going on. Who is attacking the school? and why is everyones hair long?

I would love to see yuki do something kick butt with her power.

I think this is what has been happening:

Vampires loyal to Rido are drawn to the school as a result of Rido regaining his full strength. These vampires are looking for a "gift" to present to Rido when they meet. That's why they are attacking the day class students (to present them as gifts). To prevent this, the night class is protecting the day class.

And as to why everyone's hair is long? Well.. Guess it just looks cooler :P lol.


This was quite a nice chapter. Hope Kaname will be okay facing the Council himself >.<
