Currently, Vergo could put up some defence, but will ultimately succumb to one Enma technique. No more difficulty than Pica could offer. Zoro has improved this arc, too, so it'd be less than the effort it took to defeat Pica. Particularly with Vergo not being able to hide.
We’re all blown away how well he did against the gifters

No it clearly is a strength feat being that the cannon ball has momentum, and Tashigi has to stop it down to nilch. Midair with the arm extended stopping it instantaneously means she uses basically just her wrist strength
Not at all. Tashigi's feat with the cannonball mirrors Mihawk's feat with the gunshots when he taught Zoro that "a sword without finesse is no different than an iron bar".

Tashigi doesn't use strength to stop the cannonball's momentum; in fact, she doesn't stop its momentum nor halts it in any way. She delicately changes the cannonball's trajectory by making it swiftly roll over the blade. It's 100% a skill feat. Finesse, not strength.

Mihawk deflected a gunshot that was fired at him to the side, which means he deflected it , whereas Tashigi reversed the direction of the cannon ball, so it’s different feat altogether. Tashigi has to actually stop its entire momentum in order to wield control over it. Two different things. It’s a pure strength feat

She didn't reverse the direction. She changed the angle, nothing else. You can literally see how the cannonball rolls in slowmotion through the blade, and she moves the trajectory by moving the blade and making it roll and continue in a different direction. All in a single instant while she's in midair.

You can then see how the cannonball continues towards her back in the new direction and misses the ship.

I'm not going to argue over this. It's straight there in the manga page.

About the Mihawk comparison.

The anime adaptation made Mihawk softly turn the blade to hit the bullets away, but in the manga there's no movement.

He deflects (definition: changes the trajectory) the bullets through much more finesse than Tashigi and with no perceived movement other than holding the blade out. It's the same feat at a different scale (and to different kinds of projectiles, of course, but the same method. Tashigi has certainly gotten stronger since Rogue Town).

Tashigi is on her way to that finesse, and of course she's getting physically stronger on the way, but she's always world's below Zoro. Any interpretation of Punk Hazard saying that Tashigi shows more strength, physical or mental, than Zoro, is really coming out as a desire to "troll" the character, as I originally pointed out from your original comment.

The cannon ball is coming downwards and she grabs it with the face of the blade. It’s nothing like Mihawk nudging the bullet away with the edge of the sword. The cannon ball lands square at the face of the blade, then she proceeds to throw it straight upwards past the mast, ie she reverses direction. Nothing like Mihawk who just deflects by barely even touching the bullet it seems
the ball can only roll like that by her having gained control over it. She does this also fast enough before the cannon ball explodes, which means she needs to stop it close to instantaneously as well

If you pay attention to the middle left pannel, you can literally see how the cannonball touches the blade and immediately starts rolling on it.

Also, the way the ball rolls on her blade suggests I'm right. If the ball's momentum was stopped, it wouldn't roll over the blade, it would fall to the side, instead it rolls, why? Because of its momentum and inertia, that she takes advantage of to redirect it. If you will, think of it as something similar to how jiujitsu works, but applied to a cannonball in a way that of course would be impossible in the real world.

The fact that it's supposed to happen in less than a second, since Tashigi is still in mid-air when the cannonball explodes, just supports that there's no "stop, roll, and then throw".
