this movie does not take place in arc 3...nor does is it possible to take place in the second half of arc 2. therefore it is non canon...instead of clarifying otherwise, this manga special chapter makes that clear...i think all we can take from this is the flashback of 3000 years ago and just assume everything happening in the present time doesnt count

The fact that these knights are canon doesn't mean the movie will be canon. And they can still appear in the manga. Berlion is seen in the Mel VS Mael chapter.
