Volume 61 has these chapters

Based on it the last episode that covers volume 61 is 527, we go in 534, which would be a difference of 7 chapters with what would be missing 3 episodes to complete Volume 62, coupled with the fact that we do not know if the last volume ( 63) will have more chapters as a step with Rave would be an approximate between 13 or 14 chapters which can serve to close the series.

Mashima has been since last year making some ads for Starbiter Satsuki, so it is possible that it could be serialized, according to Yonkou it could be that the new series of Mashima arrives almost immediately (remember that Mashima is dubbed Superman by the Mangakas of The Magazine as it never stops to rest)

I don't remember Volumes of Fairy Tail with more than 9 chapters in it. So 2 more Volumes is about 18 chapters. We already have 7 chapters for vol. 61. So it's only 11 chapters left.

Vol. 61 - ch. 519-527 (9 chapters)
Vol. 62 - ch. 528-536 (9 chapters)
Vol. 63 - ch. 537-545/546 (8/9 chapters) - 8 if last chapter will be 30 or 50 pages long.

We are at chapter 534 now, so it gives us 11-12 chapters.

The weekly shounen magazine serializes the chapters ahead of when the books are actually published. There will be 2 more volumes after 61, and 61 ended on chapter 527. The magazine is is on chapter 534 right now. 11 chapters from 534 is the exact same thing as 18 chapters from 527. Either way, if the next 2 volumes are 9 chapters each, then the series will end on chapter 545.

It is true, my mistake, but it is that some volumes if they have 10 chapters (vol 39)these commonly have no extras.

I thought they might be bigger volumes.

Mashima has not gone wrong, I think the reason for reaching the end is because I really already tell the stories of all the characters and you should have ready your new manga that can not grow if your most important work in publication Still active, which would stop him to post something more out of One Shots

Hiro's art is really just nice to look at . The early comparisons for the first volumes of FT were his art was vastly similar to one piece but he really added depth and formed his own bubbly characters into his own naturally. Hiro doesn't have a huge case of "same face disease" like other prominent authors, some can have the same face structure say like God Serena and Yuri but it's not as bad as I've seen, while his characters' designs stand out especially after a few times we see them and he's drawn them.
