The Rebooted Souls is a 192 page guidebook that contains information on the story and all the characters that have appeared in Bleach up until chapter 490.

The Rebooted Souls will be bundled together with volume 55 and cannot be ordered or purchased as a separate item. The cost of volume 55 will still remain the same so The Rebooted Souls is just a nice, free gift.

ohhh thats really nice of them? are they so unpopular that no one would buy it separately, because shueisha isn't patronizing at all.

That's pretty generous of them. It could probably serve as a great way to grab new readers who are daunted at the task of buying and reading 54 volumes. You could read the data book and then start collecting from 55 onwards. This could not only increase sales of future volumes, but maybe even get a few people that really like it to buy old volumes.

Bleach seems to have changed the format of its volume covers again, which is good seeing as I wasn't exactly the biggest fan of the previous format (look at all of the Fullbringer arc covers to know what I'm talking about). Didn't expect to see Buckbeard on a cover so soon though.

There's something very reminiscent about Pajama's cover. It feels more like an illustration than a manga cover.

I don't read ST&Rs, but the mangaka definitely has a good eye for design, hopefully he'll get re-serialized soon.
