Of course Bismarck.
He didn't shows us any limit. nobody except Monster himself can't beat him in tie break.
This current version of Atobe is like:
I know what are you guys up to, but I lack of few things to counter it, unless with some luck and being in situation like match point, it's possible.
The fact is, Bismarck is stronger than Romeo and I don't think he let Atobe to take a set from him, he will go all out.
The Q is:
If Atobe was 17, he has a chance? Yes. He has this potential to beat any player, without having this current limit, he can evolve himself further than we've seen here, and even he can push himself far than his current.
So, I think, Atobe three years from now can beat Bismarck (current one), we don't know three years later how strong Bismarck can be or other G5.

Though I consider these with amazing potential, that in futures
Volk level: Ryoma, Tezuka, Kintaro
Amadeus level: Atobe, Monster, Romeo, Seda (let's wait) (All time threat for those three. )
Duke level: Yukimura, Fuji, Shiraishi
... Note
Volk level: Boss, Medanore, Ryoga, Tokugawa
Amadeus level: Ralph, Cameo, Q.P, Bismarck, Tane
Duke level: Oni, Lord Zeus, (I'de really like to add, Swiss Megane guy (Henry or Peter, and also David from U.S and ... but we don't know how good they are:((
... P.S: Duke/Cameo reminds me of Tsubasa, Misaki and France guy Pierre. Also Volk, is Karl Heinz Schneider and ... :))
I wish could put more time to develpe those mentioned guys.

Come on guys vote for the king! 😂

Anyways, you guys are saying Romeo isn’t stronger than Bismarck, when we basically got a flashback with them going toe to toe and having an equal match, and even if Bismarck didn’t unveil any special serve, Romeo didn’t use Materializar, Infinite reset or used the 100% of his hormones. In a true match I think Romeo can perfectly beat Bismarck, if Bismarck doesn’t get out of Materializar, which I think he would but would take a bit of time, Romeo can use his adaptability to adjust his performance level and I don’t see how he wouldn’t return any of Bismarck’s techniques. Which honestly aren’t that tricky to figure out.

Even blue eyed Kirihara managed to stand against Siegfried-Bismarck using howling which is far more impressive than going vs Bismarck alone, and if we consider Romeo much stronger than that Kirihara…

The only problem Atobe has is that his future evolution has a limit, otw if he could go forever with it he beats Bismarck solidly. He did last a whole set and it wasn’t until the final stages of the third that his body started to give up.

If Atobe can figure out Bismarck’s techniques which he should do easily with his improved Insight, he could beat Bismarck before he starts to cramp up.

Honestly I don’t see Bismarck having anything that isn’t unreturnable for Atobe. He even lacks any inter dimensional techniques and Atobe has acquired one of the most broken upgrades up to date.

I hardly see Atobe losing this.

First, there was a practice match and we don't know the result, the only fact was Q.P asks him: why go to tie break? he says wanted to see his reset values.
This indicate, he intentionaly wanted to check him.
We've known Atobe for a long time, his evolution and any massive details unlike King, we don't know much of details about Bismarck's play style.
The other thing, I think it is wrong to compare Atobe Vs Bismarck by result such a practice match with Romeo.
Even if the match was serious you have to know Bismarck is different player than Romeo.
His match with Tane, he was all relax even after they were behind, even Q.P was struggling Vs Oni for a times.

I think some, believe that Tane is weaker than Atobe or Romeo. Thank to Konomi-San, with Seda and Zeus he makes Tane out of the game.
Before this, he was more popular. Looks like he filled Duke place. I hope after D2, there will be some fair conclusion.
Zeus is strong, he destroyed shiraishi by just one look:))
Then back those chapters , we were agree that he is one of the most powerful players around. and he is 1st Years HSers.
Then the scene with Seda makes him weaker. then Seda looks stronger by his ability Vs Ryoma.
Then Romeo taught him about few things. So Romeo got credit a lot.
We know as chapters: Ryoma at the moment is stronger than Kintaro, but Kin-Chan is the only one who didn't affected by Seda.
It would be silly to think:
Kintaro>Seda>Ryoma.. While the truth is Ryoma and rest.
Konomi-San shows multiple times, Yukimura was choose to face Tezuka above any MSers. then Kirihara, and Niou.
Because of combination and for Yukimura:
If they choose Ryoma. He would have lost. with no chance ahead. or Atobe or ... at that time.
So, I think we should Seda, yet need to mention, I don't think Seda is stronger than Zeus, Cause if you belive it, then you should believe that Kintaro is stronger than Ryoma. Tap Tap!

Romeo seemingly needed some games to use his hormone adjustment thingie, otherwise he would had done it from the get-go instead of wasting time using Materializar (which ironically only made Atobe much stronger). I think Romeo probably loses the first set against Bismarck because of that, then wins the following ones (even more considering he can go to 120% when in a pinch and use his reset, on top).

(Not sure Romeo is much stronger than Akaya but bias.)

Atobe only lasted over a set because Romeo was afraid of his Evolution and matched his pace, even going as far as not stopping when they changed courts. Had Romeo known earlier that Atobe was a time bomb I reckon he would had won, but hindsight is 20/20.

In other words, because of the massive drawback the Evolution has, I think Romeo is stronger than Bismarck AND Atobe. And as such it plays no part in this.

Atobe without Evolution barely has a chance of returning Bismarck's serves.

Romeo with no buffs needed Bismarck to go easy on him for their match to reach the tie-break. Same Romeo return-aced Atobe's Ice Emperor the very first time he saw it. Then the rondos. Then kept scoring, only for Materializar to trigger. I really struggle seeing how Atobe can win a single game before activating his Evolution, let alone the 4~ he needs to win it all in 3 sets.

Thanks.

Now, this will be a very good matchup

If QP didnt have that UA powerup. I think Romeo has a good chance.

QP have fear. Remember when he asked the umpire to tell the audience (cheering for him) to keep quiet because he cannot focus?
(People forget about that, but it shows why QP (pre UA) was below Volk and Bismarck who have extreme high focus in pressure situations)

HOWEVER,

QP with Ultimate Aura is a different animal. It is like an extreme version of TNK.

Based on QP's comment about Romeo. I think he only consider him in Tezuka's level.

QP: "Do you think you can compete Tezuka?"

Implying Romeo is not in his level. If he does think Romeo is in his UA QP level he would have said along the lines:

QP: "I wonder if I can compete with him" (But QP never said anything like this)

I'm not sure that first point is valid. While he did ask the audience to quiet down, he was also focused enough later to properly judge Oni's shot going out. I think both instances speak morevto his personality as trying to always aim for perfect play rather than surrendering to hype and pace. Volk plays with his country on his back so he won't ignore their cheers and Bismarck is a showman.

That being said; Volk, Bismarck and Oni likely appear for him in Materializar, but I think he can break it.

Does bring up a good point: Does Light of Joy TnK(or whatever it is Tezuka/ Ryoma/ Kintaro have) nullify Materializar? Since you play without burden of focusing on victory, does the fear work?

With Hormone 100% Romeo could kind of keep up with Evolved! Atobe (we need a good name for this) who we all agree is above TnK Irie.

So with 120% Romeo has a chance to keep up with Ultimate Aura which also surpasses TnK. Neither has Stamina issues since Romeo has Infinite Reset and Ultimate Aura has no drain.

Neither has any particular special moves from the others to conquer. We never saw Atobe score with Rondo so I doubt Romeo is lacking in power. Then again Q.P. broke Oni's wrists so that's probably his best bet to overwhelm Romeo.

I'm gonna say Q.P. wins, 7-5, 5-7, 7-6. This is a surprisingly even match up

I agree on your statement on QP's Mental. Materializar doesn't seem that good of a move at all tbh, the moment you understand your fear it disappears. Romeo is better off just using his hormone adjustment (it just isn't as cool).

I just call him HS 3 Atobe since that's essentially what he is. Atobe as Japan's leader in 3 years.

And yeah, Romeo at 120% was seemingly rather even with him, but he only activated this when he was in a pinch, we don't know if he can do this realiably (probably not?). Romeo at 100% was equal to whatever level Atobe had before that, instead, and maybe current Bismarck. So now it all depends on how strong do we think Atobe will be in 2~ years and how strong QP is now.

I think "that" Atobe (HS 2?) is probably as strong as TnK Oni, but reaching the levels of the Ultimate Aura is a mean task. We know Bismarck was better than QP before he got the Ultimate Aura, but it's highly likely their roles reversed after this development.

Imo, if he gets out of Materializar QP wins 6-0 the first set against 100% Romeo, then in the second Romeo activates 120% and levels the field but ultimately loses.

Hahahaha.

Germany Players always win the poll in our weekly thread.
Probably shows how strong they are.

Yep. Imo QP is a tier above Romeo and Atobe.

I am not even sure Romeo can beat Ralph or Amadeus tbh.

imo

UA QP > Ralph > Amadeus

So where is Romeo in the inequality above? Maybe = to Amadeus.

Unless I am underestimating Ralph and Overestimating QP. But I really believed UA QP Surpassed Ralph.

Going back to direct matchup

I believe QP's Aura negates all Romeo's illusion tricks. Leaving the latter with Hormones and Infinite Reset.

Also, they are both left handed. So Yeah. No Lefty Advantage. Lol

QP wins because of Ultimate Aura, but it’d be rather close. If Romeo after his recent match can use the 120% of his hormones without being in a pinch, or after his last match can use it fine, he loses to QP but it’s going to be at least 2 sets to 1. Romeo taking a set from QP is likely, but Ultimate Aura is just too big of a powerup, only Ryoga with his devouring tennis, Volk, Byo with 8C and Medanore can probably overcome it at this point.

Without it, Romeo should beat QP. If we all agree that Romeo with 120% of his hormones can give QP a close match, then he should be above Oni at this point. Atobe in three years should be at least UA QP level or a bit stronger, so I don’t think it’s too farfetched to think Romeo is on the same level when playing at his fullest. Both can’t get tired because UA doesn’t have any stamina issues and Romeo has infinite stamina. The only thing is that QP could break Romeo’s wrists with it in the long run, if Oni’s got destroyed, Romeo should experience the same if not worse.

If Romeo could somehow tire QP out, maybe QP collapses? I don’t think it’s likely but UA can’t last forever or QP can’t reset his stamina like Romeo, that’s a huge advantage. QP stamina is very good but if it’s an endurance match he is screwed. His best bet is to overpower Romeo with UA.

Romeo will be a monster in the Future.

Imagine his 120% Hormones Self =3rd Yr HS Version of Future Atobe

I imagine Romeo can have 200% Hormones Adjustment in 3 years.

Who knows in 3 years:

Romeo might surpass Current Medanore

Tezuka might surpass Current Volk

_____________________

However in the current time. QP is still winning against Romeo.

UA QP is overpowered. As in overpowered. It is like as strong as Eight Consciousness without any drawback.

Romeo will be overwhelmed.

PS: We dont know how Romeo's Skills will fare up against a TNK or UA user. ngl

Ryoma's tenipuri party profile.

Keep in mind their stats are not up to date: Ryoma has one of the highest growth rates in the series and his Samurai has likely buffed one of his stats greatly (if he can dominate it). Duke has likely managed to get a 10 in Power with his Ki Jin, making his total a beautiful 30.

Poll will be up another day. I will update this post if I've missed anything.

Thanks Hardy!

A really good matchup I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. Sincerely, Ryoma has a lot of weapons to combat Duke. By mastering the SSS (Glowing Shot), he should comfortably return Duke Homerun and by default the power of his return would be doubled as a consequence, the main thing is that he can return it thanks to it.

Ryoma is faster and has an absurd growth rate, with his Kijin he should take points from Duke until the latter activates one of his own. Then it would become a fight between the Samurai and the Giant like we saw in Knight vs Samurai. I think Ryoma wins in the end though, he also has TnK but against Duke he should resort to using Kijin to combat the giant.

For me personally Ryoma wins, if he gets hit by the giant he could be hurt a lot but he did take a SSS returned shot from Ludovic and lasted until he won the match. I doubt a shot from Duke’s Kijin has more power than a doubled SSS, so he shouldn’t be unable to play and will be able to go on.

Ryoma wins and breaks the G5 🤪

Duke Vs Roma
Physics: Duke.
Advantage: Stronger shot+ Stamina
Kijin= since he's been awakening his kijin way before our prince, it is natural to be strongest than him. Him vs Tokugawa was a good example.
Tech: With his strong built he can pushes Roma alot to avoided him play his own match. Remember that fat guy only with one atrong serve big bang gives him difficult times.
Like Tokugawa who counter his shot with Black hole+Racket grabbing and kijin.

...
Now Ryoma:
His massive potential is one of his advantages.
However Duke is not, France prince who was above Ryoma but after Ryoma finds out how to play Vs him they became equal. Then it was his kijin and brain which makes hope practical.
...
Since Ryoma smart, he can get along with any player with various style.
I can see, he can evolve his kijin even above Duke's during the match.
TNK is helpful but we saw him Vs Dodo who didn't have problems with it. Dodo is stronge BTW.
Same for Duke. He faced Cameo's Aura off screen. (Man I really wanted to know about Cameo)
I pick Duke.
We've saw him at full strength.
He is smart so I mean smart and experienced enough to not let Ryoma adapt himself during their match.
Still Ryoma has one more match to see him.
But at the moment:
He is not. He beated Fuji which is weaker than Yuki 7-6 by the advantages of the rain. Though we can argue about not going all out etc.
But U thinking he played with his own base tennis Stat which is stronger than Fuji but weaker than Duke.
I don't think with his base he can beat Duke.
Please, Why Duke again? He is a good fellow.

Camus didn’t play Duke and never showed his aura to him in a match, it was Niou with his illusion.

How will not Duke be able to make Ryoma adapt? Ryoma’s potential is far, far higher than Duke’s so he would evolve to find a way to beat the Giant Kijin. It’s not just power, Ryoma remember that has SSS to combat Duke Homerun, Duke had much more power than Toku and still lost, technique wise Ryoma is stronger than him. He’s older but Ryoma always finds a way to break through his opponent, so even if he is older doesn’t mean he’s better at that certain skill (finding a way to overcome his opponent) nor he would stop Ryoma from evolving.

He also has TnK aside from Kijin and Hyakuren (if he wants to be faster) to even buff more his stats. Duke can buff them with Kijin at this point but I see Ryoma going beyond that.

Ryoma rn is probably at least equal to Duke in Speed and Stamina, with the caveat that he has TnK to go beyond that. To highlight his Stamina even more, Ryoma has a really good recovery rate (I don't remember where Konomi said this) which explains him sustaining Muga for entire matches and all his resistance feats (beating all his past opponents before his match vs Yukimura and that time he defeated all those American reps).

I do not doubt current base Ryoma has Duke beat in Mental and Technique, too.

So then it's all about the elephant in the room: is Duke's Power (likely a 10) too much for Ryoma, who in turn has this as his one major weakness?

Overall I think Ryoma has the tools to win this, but he needs to avoid fighting head on. On top of that, if he ever lowers his guard, Duke likely doesn't waste the opportunity and one shots him.

I don't think Ryoma has a move that can seal Duke's, fwiw, but if he is careful and goes all out he may not need one.

If Duke's Ki Jin was in Stamina it could be a different story, maybe. With Ryoma not fighting head on and staying far from the net the rallies would end up being longer, playing into Duke's advantage. But I don't think there's any indication that his Ki Jin buffs anything but Power.
