So, Spinless Sway negates all Duke's special moves. Duke Homerun, Buster, etc.
Duke can use his Kijin. But what will it do if Duke's Special Moves are negated?
Is there any Duke's arsenal that can deal with Spinless Sway.
Bismarck's Spinless Sway seems Simple. But it counters a lot. It can counter moves like Tezuka Zone, or Tsubame Gaeshi, or any Spin Moves or SSS Shot?

Well, I cant remember Bismarck using Kick Serves in the 3rd set. Maybe it was off screeened.
Iirc, Bismarck was able to barely returning Tane's Voids in the 3rd Set, but Akaya is there to return it with his attack Mode. So, it is like a 2 V 1. Since Siegfried was useless in that early part of 3rd set. Siegfried even gave up before Volk shouted on him. Lol
My point is Bismarck was able to dive and barely returning Tane's Void. But Akaya is there to wait for it and return. If it is 1 V 1 between Bismarck and Tanegashima. We saw Bismarck Won because Tane cant reach the lob Bismarck Did against The Void.

It is interesting that Two Final Bosses Germany and Spain doesn't have a Power Player.
Is Dankmar one? Or Frankensteiner?
Spain doesn't have though. We thought they will have. Maybe the Giant Partner of Ryoga.
Ultimate Void Tanegashima "has the advantage" over Bismarck.
And Duke with Ki Jin must be around Base Tanegashima (if you believe his level with Ki Jin is similar to Oni's and that Ki Jin Oni = Tanegashima). If, instead, you believe that Tanegashima = Base Oni, then Oni using Ki Jin is clearly better than Tanegashima and Duke should follow the same logic, which puts Ki Jin Duke above Bismarck, too.
Ryoga as a Jap or US rep was a HSer. Due to Spain schooling schedule he's fallen under MSer category. I think Tezuka, Romeo and Atobe can fight G5 HSers lower tiers such as Duke. But winning is another thing. I mean they could he even rally against Bismarck, QP, Tane, Oni, Zeus, Ralph but their chance of winning is low.
Amazing players, but from what I've seen I'd still give the edge to G5 HSers.
...
Not related, but Who did Duke play against before facing Tokugawa?
Ryoga was just a HSer in USA, actually. His age was never confirmed in Japan (he was there for like 2 days, after all), he would had been a Mser there, too.

Keep in mind Mifune trusted Duke to play against Camus BEFORE anyone had seen his Ki Jin (except for Byoudouin?). Does anyone have Camus <<< Bismarck?
We didn't really see those moves being used again once Duke brought up the Destruction God. He may not even need them when he's using his Ki Jin.
No reason for Bismarck to stop using his best serves in the 3rd set.

It depends because:
Base Tanegashima is worse than base Bismarck.

No, he said to Boss: King of Destruction is strong but not as current Camus! However after that sneaking mission, we saw that he already chooses Duke for this part, they had off screen match too.
This Camus thing vs Bismarck is bothersome! plus this situation reminded me of Captain Tsubasa, where Misaki was in france, Misaki/Pierre like Duke/Camus. Both were amazing and looks the same level though Pierre but Pierre was better than him.
Tane is better than Duke but he win over Zeus with one time trick, though I would not say that next time Zeus is the winner.
One thing is certain that Camus is probably better than the rest. Niou with his illustion of Camus manged to take three games from Japan but with Zeus and Noah only one set. I think even his illustion was harder than the rest for Volk to figure. maybe that's not a bad clue for measuring.
I think Camus, Amadeus, Ralph, Q.P are in the same tier, then Zues, Bismarck, Tane, Duke, Oni.
Tokugawa is between these two, with promising potential. above them ofc, Monster Volk, Boss, Ryoga, and Medanore lives.
Behind among Duke and rest are: Sedah, Romeo, Atobe, Yukimura, Tezuka, Ryoma, Monster, Ohmigari, Ochi, Mouri are waiting to turn the table.
Still don't know about Mares and other HSers of Spain. For MSers the Zeus, Oni, Duke, and ... are reachable.
...
Look it that way, Nadal beats Roger and vice versa, even Roger made it in Nadal's clay, so Novak.
I think with this idea, you manage your charcter someting like this, they are strong with potential that can be stronger than before.
I wanted to see Atobe reachs Yukimura, during National, he was nowhere near him. nobody really!
Once he became Capo of MSers, his responsibility gives him this chance and power to go even further, with this also I choose Camus over Duke or Amadus over Q.P until see them having match.
Again, some charcters devlopment were better than others, and this gives them a bit credit than others. (I'm talking about new faces in this tourny)
Good thing is, we still can guess who is better cause this tourney is on the run, and some characters have some back story.
So far Mares has connection with Australian and Sedah with greek, Romeo is Spanish!
I mean it's over but the whole point is discussing the match up, the voting is just for fun. I've brought a bunch of points that... I'm pretty sure are very valid but have been ignored?
What's the point in discussing characters that we have no idea what they can do?

Siegfried vs Osval is kinda like: does TnK counter the mental jutsu? If it does he wins if it doesn't he loses.
We kinda do not know much about Henri at all to discuss.

For The Discussion. It really boils down to Duke's Kijin. Because we already saw Base Bismarck Counters Base Duke.
So it is a matter of
Is Duke's New Buddha Kijin enough X Factor to turn the tables around?
But I will bet my Money on Bismarck in the matchup.
And Yes, I never bought the idea that Camus = Duke because the latter is chosen to play against his former teammate. (I think Camus is Significantly Stronger)
Just for fun speculation. Hehe. Anyways we had Zeus VS Ralph who we only know their skills barely.
I am kinda curious on how the posters here will overestimate or underestimate unknown players like Kiko, Dodo, Peter, Kuraraga, Crawford,Hades, etc.
But yeah, you are right. It is kinda pointless since we will not be able to make an argument much.

In that case. Most of the time we will use Japan Players.
I am thinking of Genius 6-10 VS Msers again then
Mouri VS Shiraishi
Tohno VS Yanagi
Kimijama VS Kite
Shiraishi beats Mouri handidly in that case, Yanagi if he has enough data on the executions would stand a chance actually if he doesn’t get killed by them and Kite depends but Kimijima and Kite are more suited for doubles, a singles match between them we already know Kimi wins but close.

That the only one from Genius 6-10 who is getting high respect is Ochi.
Ohmagari, Kimi, Tohno, and Mouri. I always see here an argument that Mid Tier Msers like Shiraishi or Sanada has a chance against them. (Atobe, Ryoma, Kin, Yuki, Fuji are the high mser tiers in Japan)
While Ochi is being considered almost Equal to Irie. At least presumably.

Ochi gets more hype due to "Former #4". He also has better feats. He's shown generating the Interdimensional dust cloud. Plus his Mach even at 60% was deemed unreturnable by most of the MSers.
Mouri's unique skill relies on his Doubles partner to bring out it's true effectiveness.
Kimijima is just decent high schooler stats. His negotiations are a mediocre skill and he has no finisher.
Tohno is probably the best of the 3 in terms of techniques, but it requires set up. His stamina is poor and his ever present knee injury means anyone with ok power and control can one shot him by spiking his knee.
Ohmagari has an unfortunate set up. He lacks any Hax ability, his nitoryu isn't flashy, and he doesn't have the stats necessary to make up for it.
Bismarck wins, but for Duke’s favor I’d say it depends if his Kijin gets Bismarck. It got Tokugawa so it shouldn’t be no less, the thing is that Bismarck is versatile enough to play around it and eventually find a way to counter it back.
We never got to see Ralph's tennis against Byodouin, Volk, QP, etc because of Ryoga. i mean he could fair better against someone who doesn't consume his tennis. We're talking about a guy who exposes the opponent's weaknesses and turns them into his strength. Amadeus' tennis is basically a counter/Opposite to Byodouin's. I really don't see Amadeus losing to any player other than the Captains of teams in Semi( and Ryoga).
But Imagine him being lower than Oni, QP, and even Bismarck. that's really awful for a man of his status. i think his tennis can counter Oni's kijin+TNk.

Amadeus is about equal to Ralp who got defeated by Ryoga, whom many views as above even Volk and Byoudonin. Losing to Ryoga is much of a anti-feat or anything at all really.
