Anyway, i am happy if i feel that the position is well deserved. I don't want to see KHR at bottom 5 though... Simply because i would really hate to see it suffer the same fate as Shaman King.

Its all cool. The differing views makes this thread fun. I have just made it clear that I dislike this current arc and after recent chapters even more so than the Future Arc ending. The thing with Sin was a bright spot for me until it ended up being the instrument that made the power leveling in this manga almost as bad as Bleach...almost.

The plot device in that chapter was pretty cliché; I'm not going to lie. However, if I look at it from a bird's eye view (that is, the arc as a whole), then I don't mind it as much.

@Rejuvenation: Aww, I love this arc though. XD It might be my nature to overanalyze but the themes in this arc are pretty interesting (for me anyway). As long as everyone is civil about their different opinions, I'm fine.

For anyone's interests, that issue's (#27) postcard questionnaire had the question, "The series you stopped reading recently". It may or may not have influence in this week's TOC but it's still something to take note. Usually they would ask generic questions like "What do you talk about with your friends?" or "How often do you buy the tankoubons?" etc.

Does not Toriko enter the ranking for having the cover?

I believed that if a manga has the cover but not color pages it enters the ranking.
Then One Piece would be fourth.

Weird ToC but interesting nonetheless. Weeks like this make watching it fun . Is Toriko ranked? Its got the cover but no color pages so I'm not sure. Either Mago, Inumaru, and Medaka deserve some applause.

Low OP is fail. Maybe the flashbacks weren't that popular. It had it's haters here. Good to see Mago back in the top 5. Naruto better take number 1 next week too and retain it until all of the flashbacks are accounted for. Kushina's appearance, taming the Kyuubi, and the flashbacks have been by far the best thing in the magazine over the last two months. And maybe the best arc of the entire series.

If it has color pages it is not ranked. Color pages are placed in the magazine, That's why they are always in the front and the middle, publishers charge more to place advertisements in those parts of the magazine.

One Piece isn't really low just a few spots lower than usual. Just means Toriko (if its ranked) and Mago had very good chapters that week. It happens.

As much as I'd love Toriko being on top, its mostly likely not ranked. Bakuman and a few other series were put near the beginning of the magazine when they had the cover but no color pages.

That's actually Jaguar! that's not ranked. It is always at the end of the magazine. Not sure if its ever been absent now that I think about it...

Jaguar was absent quite a bit in its early years. Not a whole lot recently. But I think it was absent once last year or the year before.

So there will be a 3 month gap between the release of the current volumes for Naruto and OP and the next volume... Interesting.

That's how it was up until recently for One Piece. The two month gap between volumes 58 and 59 was a nice exception - not only in regards to posing direct competition to Naruto

Even though Naruto is a strong seller it doesn't even comes close to OP.
