Gintama never ends it goes on hiatus it will be back till then we will have that second movie to look forward to.

Kurogane has dropped a bit as of late but it still has yet to drop in the bottom 5 hope it stays that way.

I know that. Those articles only say that the Gintama timeslot will be occupied but didn't confirm its ending. What I'm saying is that the ***tama Arc will be introduced in March 26, which is awkward.

I'm not saying it wouldn't end. The full explanation is here. Next week should have been the start of the ***tama Arc, but as you see, they're apologizing for the somewhat sudden cancellation. This is the official confirmation while your... hmm, teaser, was it, is not sufficient proof. I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just asking for concrete proof such as this. It was weird 'cuz they made a ***tama arc and ended up just tossing it out. Wasting an episode and possibly more.

On Monday, the Gintama television anime series is drawing to a close on TV Tokyo after five years of running. Episode 252 is titled "We're Sorry" although last week's preview listed the title as "To be Determined."

Is ***tama the real name or are you censuring yourself !?
I think the anime ends because it has mostly catch the manga. It will probably be back in a few years like last time.

Anyway next TOC will be funny. The first time in a while for St&rs to end up in the middle of the magazine...

In fact the next Shônen Jump will be the big mess for the tocs.


There will be "a side" Medaka and "a side" Kuroko.

-Medaka Box will cover (front) and the lead color. After there will be few series. And in the middle of the "jump" it will return it.

-Kuroko no Basket will cover (back) and the lead color. After there will be few series. And in the middle of the "jump" it will return it.

So example :

Medaka (front cover & lead color)
One Piece
Naruto
etc..
Gintama (last chapter for Medaka Box side)

Jump Middle

Bleach (last chapter for Kuroko box side) >> from this chapter page will be in reverse)
Etc..
kochi Kame
mago
Kuroko no Basket (back cover & lead color)

Smells like a troll to me. I mean I don't doubt it's gonna end since it's written clear as day there. Though the ANN article makes it sound like Gintama is going to end forever this time around. Thooough the article written for the episode summary itself there does have a tone that sounds like 'Thanks for hanging in there with us through it all.' I won't believe that it's gone for good until the episode airs....they could very well have a huge 'SEE YOU IN APRIL 2013' message right after the credits.

Also there's a Gintama culture fest going on in Japan that week (or was it this one?) that should reveal some news on the series. Considering Gintama is one of Sunrise's biggest earners, I don't think they'd let it go just that soon...especially since current events in the manga seem to dictate that Sorachi may be approaching some sorta end within a year or two.

If you didn't already know, it's Kintama, a transient shift from Gin to Kin. Wherein the title of the series temporarily changed from 银魂: Gintama (银=Silver 魂=Soul) to 金魂: Kintama (金=Gold 魂=Soul). 金魂 is a play on 金玉: Kintama (Literally "Golden Ball" or Testicles in Japanese). I'm censoring it for spoiler caution and because of that. Bomber could've verified it though.

Exactly what I was thinking. First I needed verification from things other than timeslot shifts. The ***tama arc was set to air on the 26th and now a sudden apology for cancellation is awkward. The one on ANN made it sound as if it's not coming back, and we're not that sure for its comeback. Though it's likely to come back, I guess, since they already made the ***tama arc.

Hokkaido TV, a TV-Tokyo affiliate confirmed it would get replaced by Gon.. Beelzebub, BLEACH now Gintama.. Although I would say a return for Gintama is likely as its IMO a continuation of BLEACH, not sure for Beelzebub, though.
Kuroko no Basket and Medaka Box have huge shoes to fill.

The thing with Gintama, is they're ending the anime on an arc that was used in the manga to parody "manga endings". And actually had fake "well, Gintama is over now" jokes in it. It's 9 manga chapters long, so it's not likely they'll finish the arc in two episodes. So they're going to stop the anime in the middle of an arc, though the end of said arc the manga doesn't really end. So the anime will probably do the first half of this arc, then the first 1-2 episodes of the continuation will probably finish it.

IMO then its a perfect "ending" for Gintama, how better to end a gag anime than with an arc that parodies endings?
Although I say "ending" because I think Gintama has enough support for it to be a franchise with more anime adaptations in the future.

It seems like the Jump Editorial Staff (or Komi) made a mistake in this weeks chapter of Nisekoi. This weeks chapter was meant to have been ch.19 but it is ch.18 again just like last week.
