Baka to Boing was a horrible manga. For Pajama no Kanojo's sake I hope the similarities are merely superficial.

The similarity is just concept; beautiful girl is dead and her sole hangs out with a male protagonist.

Does anyone besides me find this week's Jump odd?
HXH is all sketchy, Gintama is missing most of the fill-in inking, some of the mangas only have like 17 pages... Like Reborn and Bakuman.
Are there any other ones? It's like all the mangaka got sick at once. Or maybe the raws I read were missing pages or something...

Also Stars still hasn't ended.

and also I find it odd that ST & RS is not finished ...

I wanted to ask a question, but to celebrate a year of serialization, when he started watching the series or count the chapters up to a year of JUMP (which is 52 chapters)?

because to me it seems strange that a Magico have not even given a color, because now if I'm not mistaken, it's already past 1 year from the serialization.

Jump readers do not like Magico, therefore it does not get color. It has lasted a year only because there has been other series they liked less. St&rs is mid-volume. Canceling it now means they would only have half a book to sell. It will get canceled when they have enough material for another book.

There are 48 chapters a year, assuming the mangaka does not take any breaks. Jump takes four years a week off for holidays. Series are not guaranteed color or the cover for milestones. They never have and never will.

Most series rarely get their anniversary color on time anyway. For Magico its hitting almost exactly a year now when really it would probably get its acknowledgement a month or more after the fact.

Pajama na Kanojo chapter 1 was so good

The story was really interesting, the art was fantastic, the ecchi scenes were as awesome as they were abundant and those colour pages were stunning.

I was left wondering what Snow White is going to have to do with this story. Shirai dressed up as Snow White during the comercial which is not a big deal, but the series logo has an apple and thorns in it so I think the fairy tale Snow White will tie into the series at some point.

This will definitely be one of the series' I look foward to reading the most each week together with Bleach and Nisekoi.

But than I'm sad thinking that Pajama and Nisekoi will fighting against each other for votes

I have yet to read Pajama no Kanojo (the art looks pretty nice though) so I can't say for sure, but wasn't Snow White dead (due to the poison apple) until her prince kissed her on the lips? So maybe she'll come back to life with a kiss .

wouldn't the mangaka encounter the exact same problems as naoshi did with kagami? we will see but i think it will be quite difficult for him to keep a good story with this restriction.

There are enough manga with ghosts, so this shouldn't be a problem, since they can appear in the "real world" too, don't have to stay in a mirror while the other partner must thay within. Personallity takeover and so on.

What ups? It hasn't been in the front half of the magazine since last summer. The tankobon don't sell either, at least by Jump standards. It does not poll very well and it does not sell very well, therefore it is by definition not very popular.

What do you base your Nisekoi prediction on? Every chapter has been in the top ten of the TOC. Last I checked plot never determines longevity, otherwise Naruto would have ended years ago. If a series is popular they can stretch the plot as long as they want.
