Bleach just goes down down down ... Realy nice this weeks Toc
True that. Even if he put Shinigamis back, it won't look that interesting... But the worst part is: Bleach doesn't seem to get any new fans lately. Instead, so many people are dropping it. So if you follow Marketing rules, Bleach will normally become so unpopular. (But I won't say it would be cancelled).I doubt Bleach will recover.I don't see how it wants to manage that when a big series like HunterxHunter is coming back after a long time.Bleach might drop even lower.
People keep saying that this serie or that serie might be moved to SQ, but how many times in history of Jump SQ (and Monthly Jump) this happened?Even if Bleach didn't recover its ranking for several months to year, then I think it might move to SQ rather than just cancel it.
Well, I think Jojo was moved to because of low ranking. Stone Ocean (Jojo Part 6) was mostly ranked in bottom 5 (even last place), but it ended naturally because I think the editors don't want to cancel Jojo (even if it is just part of it). So, when it started Steel Ball Run (Jojo Part 7), the editors decide to move to Ultra Jump because now Jojo became too mature series for teenage boys in 2000s.So, a question: there are precedents of a serie being moved to save from cancelation?
Well, the recent chapters aren't that much interesting as compared to first part. So, it wasn't that much suprise when Enigma drop to bottom 5. But last few chapters have gotten better, so I think Enigma can climb out of bottom 5.I wish I wasn't super-worried about Enigma (and kinda Magico only middling. it needs to be top 5 every week for me to feel happy), but I'm sure it'll climb up following the conclusion of the e-test arc (which... is kinda the biggest opening arc I've read in a long time, I think)
If rank does not recover, Shueisha will not be looking at the final sales figures but percentage of change in volume sales. If the next volume loses ten percent of it's sales, the volume after that loses another eight, etc. Shueisha will tell Kubo to wrap things up. They could easily justify ending a ten year old series based on declining sales and low rankings, even if sales were still in the 500,000 range. Bleach typically sold in the 700-800,000 range, before the end of Deicide. It will probably take a year of low rankings, coupled with declining sales, for Bleach to get canceled. It's only a matter of time before Bleach gets its rankings back to normal. The plot has really picked up in the latest chapters so once they get ranked they should be higher than this. And then when the shinigami come back etc the rankings will go back to normal. Kubo just used a long time getting to that point, too long. He has been going in a new direction and has been too slow getting to the interesting parts. There's only "so long" that the fans will tolerate it, and it's now more visible than ever before how long it could be tolerated. However I expect the chapters to be higher ranked in the coming weeks.
The edo tensei zombies were classic stretchingThere's no logical way of stretching out Naruto. The main character himself has reached the peak of the power level cap of the world, and while he could always get stronger with better Kyuubi control, general techniques (sealing, more wind techniques, second element etc) and overall experience, he's already godly powerful.

I can only speculate but I doubt Bleach fits SQ's demographic. The vast majority of SQ readers are 16 or older, I doubt a significant enough portion of Bleach's audience is above 16. ToRa, DGM, and PoT were moved because they're fans fit SQ's profile better than Jump's. JoJo, Beshari, and Captain Tsubasa moved to seinen magazines because they lost most of their teen readers while maintaining a core of adult fans. I doubt Bleach will have that luxury.Even if Bleach didn't recover its ranking for several months to year, then I think it might move to SQ rather than just cancel it. Bleach is still one of highest selling manga series in Japan and there is only handful of manga series that actually go beyond Bleach (like One Piece, Naruto, Kimi ni Todoke, etc.). So, I doubt Shueisha will let this series go that easily.
Nothing is moved to be saved from cancellation. To Love Ru, DGM, and PoT rarely polled better than the middle of the magazine. Tenth or eleventh would have been a good week for any of them, at the best of times. But all three always sold well, without any sign of being in decline when their run in WSJ ended. And unlike Bleach, all three had primarily older teen audiences, voting for the TOC is weighted against older teens. But SQ is meant for older teens, so it makes sense to move them to a magazine with a more natural audience. Hoshino's health would be completely immaterial, if DGM did not appeal to SQ's audience moving it would be bad business. Mago is the only current series I can see moving to SQ. It would be a stylistic fit, and has had shaky rankings for years now. It's never stayed in the danger zone, but it rarely rises above the middle of the magazine.People keep saying that this serie or that serie might be moved to SQ, but how many times in history of Jump SQ (and Monthly Jump) this happened?
The only series who get "moved" from WSJ to SQ that I recall is D.Gray-man (which was moved because of Hoshino's health problems), Prince of Tennis and To Love-Ru (which, in fact, are differents series from the ones who run in Shonen Jump).
So, a question: there are precedents of a serie being moved to save from cancelation?

I'm not sure about that. The first two chapters of Ikkyuu was enjoyable, but I pretty disappointed on chapter 3,4, and 5. So, I don't surprise if Ikkyuu drops to bottom on next few issues.Wait. This is it's first ranking? It's in seventh? Sweet. The first new Jump series I've liked in two years is off to a good start
Now it better stay out of the bottom five.
Well they weren't fantastic chapters, but they were classic early series chapters. Most series start off with small adventures that aren't amazing just entertaining as a means to more thoroughly introduce the main characters. So I'm not expecting a bottom drop, maybe a slight drop but if it drops majorly, it has little chance of recovery D:I'm not sure about that. The first two chapters of Ikkyuu was enjoyable, but I pretty disappointed on chapter 3,4, and 5. So, I don't surprise if Ikkyuu drops to bottom on next few issues.
Hope he'll publish at least 20-30 chapters, and that he'll wrap up the current arc. I would suffer in huge pain if I have to wait one more year for the ending.

Well, hardcore fans were not entirely pleased, but kids will love it,so i think it will really take first place. When This Chapter Of Naruto Gets Ranked It's Gonna Own The First Place![]()

I share these concerns as well. And in all honesty, I believe moving Bleach to a monthly magazine would not only kill its popularity but also its PACING. Something we already acknowledge as horrible would now take twice the time. Well hello 20 years of Bleach.I can only speculate but I doubt Bleach fits SQ's demographic.
