I have a theory why Bleach falls every week a little more expect of course the things already said. I think that when you are in the Bottom a lot less people read the series. There are 3 million people who buy Jump. I believe that a big amount of that only has the time to read the first half of the magazine. Therefore those series who are in the bottom get a lot less exposure and fall even more. It is kind of a devils circle. A Color page should help to get it out of the bottom for a while.

I’m worried for Ikkyuu. It is too close to the bottom. I hope it rises soon.
I’m glad for the rankings of Magico and Enigma.
Never liked Bleach and reborn therefore I like there rank as well
Never cared for Mago that much even though I do read it.

Like someone already said. IF the new series stay out of the bottom for a while the next cancelation round will get REAL interesting.

My personal taste must be diametrically opposed to the voting Jump audience. Aside from Bakuman, the only other series I still care to follow (Beelzebub, Reborn, Bleach and Mago) are all in the bottom five.

I have a bad feeling about Hanasaka Ikyuu, it's already near the bottom and WSJ history tells us that new series are more likely to fall than to rise, especially if it's just the second chapter rated :/

Reborn deserved this place, the last chapters have been a huge disappointment. Nothing to say about Bleach, but it's a shame that Mago is at the bottom again :( the last chapters have been fairly interesting so I hope the ranking will rise the next few weeks.

Woah, Bleach has dropped. Has it ever been this low before? I think the author made a bad story choice in this new arc.

Damn Bleach, Beelzebub and Reborn are in the bottom five. Not afraid that Bleach will cancelled doubt it will happen, most people think its in danger, me not so much.

Bleach's worst rank was 2002 Issue 4-5 Combined, Bleach coming 2nd last, saved by Stone Ocean coming in Last. It should be chapter 13 of Bleach that ranked that week.

But considering a series was cancelled this week basically making it unranked this would be Bleach's second worst ranking ever, it had other times where it ranked 3rd last (Issue 1,27,31,34 all 2002) but no series were cancelled on those issues.

Bleach still has Shueisha's support but...one wonders how long it will last. Remember: when a popular series collapses, the magazine still semi-supports it for all the years it gave before it starts pressuring it to move or move out. Having been through this before with Shinsetsu Bo-bobo (which did the same Bleach did: keep the characters but for the most part tried to make a brand new story...which utterly bombed) and ES21, I sort of hear the cynic in me saying this could be the beginning of the end...but of course there are a ton of Bleach fans I fear offending saying that.

Interesting ToC otherwise though.

Since four cushion series (Dois Sol, Hokenshitsu, Meruhen, and Sengoku Armors) are gone, you guys have any ideas on which series will be new cushion or bottom dweller series?

My opinion is Bleach will remain bottom for a while (unless if it gets color, like next issue). And I also think Ikkyuu will be bottom dweller because I didn't enjoy much on this series since after chapter 2. I, personally, think the concept on one shot was much better than concept on serialization.

Well, of the four new series a few months ago, officially only one survived. Dois Sol, Merchen Grimm, and Sengoku Armors are now all gone. And just magico got through.

Nice to see Toriko still 2nd, and Enigma at least in the middle. It's getting to the climax of the arc where a lot of stuff gets explained, so it should be able to at least maintain that.

It seems odd to me that Bleach can be 3rd to last but next week it can get the opening color. But I suppose that happens occasionally, though I've never seen it with something ranking low for several weeks in a row.
Dunno why Beelzebub is ranking low. I guess it's a negative response to that video game arc. But stuff past there was better. Hopefully Mago can get better ranks, too, with the new arc it's in (Though I haven't read it in a while). \

Most other things are around where they are normally. Sket Dance, Bakuman, and Gintama all enjoying high ranks from having animes.
Now we have new series starting again with the cancelation of old ones. Plus HXH will be starting up again next month, though I don't think we know which issue, just that it'll be "in August". And that'll fill up one of the spots.
Where Hanasaka Ikkyuu ends up, we're still not sure. Might do okay, might not. With Houkenshitsu no Shinigami gone, there's room for another "buffer series" as a lot of people say. So it can survive while being in the bottom 5 as long as it does ok.

Also, I remember that manga from that Akamaru Jump 2009 issue, Takamagahara. I remember it being the only manga I thought stood out. Hopefully after a couple years in development the author has made it good enough to get serialized. Maybe some other stuff in the GFC will be good enough to get serialized, too.

Top 3 is OK. Very pleased about Toriko maintaining the lead on Naruto.

Bakuman on 5. is also good. The last chapters are awesome, so I hope it'll do even better.

Magico on 6. is good. Really hope it'll maintain it's place at the upper half.

BEELZEBUB?! Hasn't it ranked quite well lately, and now it suddenly drop to the bottom half? Is it chapter 107 or 108 that's ranked? 108 was awesome in my opinion (both funny and good action).

Beyond that the bottom 5 is OK. Reborn and Bleach doesn't deserve any better at he moment, and I don't read Mago and Ikkyuu.

... Reborn all the way down there.. hope it gets back up.
Bleach will live and Beelze has gotten incredibily boring lately.
To me its fine, except for reborn.

Am not offended. True its happened Bo-Bobo and ES21 had good runs but not as good as Bleach has, well to me anyway. It won't take long for Bleach to get its standing back, some people see it in the bottom 5 consecutive weeks and are ready to write its obituary. Sleep on Bleach if you want to but it will be back where it belongs.

Nura is lower than Bleach... Kind of a fail. It better pick up in the rankings so that Bleach will be in last place. Come on Japan, we can do this!

I'm kind of happy about Reborn's ranking. Reborn is starting to feel very fatigued. Not as bad as Bleach, but it's getting there.

Beelzebub, what are you doing? Get out of there!

Ikkyuu is probably going to hit rock bottom unless Bleach acts as an anchor for it.

Amazing comeback for Enigma! I knew it could get out of the bottom five! :)

Wonderful ToC overall.

Crazy ToC.

Bah @ Bleach getting more color. Even with poor rankings it can still live up to its color whoring title.

I am more or less just fine with the bottom 5. Most of the the series there are stuff I think should have ended by now or stuff that I thought was ok but didn't live up to all the hype surrounding it. The only one I feel sympathy for is Mago atm. Unless the new series bomb, this is probably going to be one of the most heart breaking cancellation rounds in a while. It would also help if Togashi will just GTFO after his 10 chapters but he could possibly stay longer like last time.

One Piece takes the #1 spot as usual. It is great to see Toriko above Naruto again this week. Bakuman and Sket Dance round out the top 5 and I get my Medaka Color. I am a happy fan this week. Great things to see.

yeah ikkyuu will be axed next. the first chapter were great and the conclusion on the chapter 5, but 2-3 were quite boring. don't know about the ones after that but it seems to be better as a oneshot.

the next goner will be mago and probably stars, because of the less famous mangaka duo. is it certain that a manga will go for hxh? i mean it's only a few chapter long so why the bother? put it in as a extra.

medaka will be gone anytime so too, because of it's natural ending. don't know what ishi plans to do but he won't do a kuboto and let medaka enter university, would he?

Mago at the bottom (save for Sengoku) is really sad :( I don't think it's in much danger of cancellation right now since it just started a new arc. Shiibashi wouldn't have taken his time with the Edo arc if he knew he was gonna get canceled, so I think right now Mago is pretty safe though Shiibashi better pull up his socks a little and make sure he wins back some votes with the new arc. It seems to be off to a good start and I do hope Japan agrees with me on that! If only Mago would go back to its glory days where it could even take the top spot on the TOC :crying

Beelzebub, Reborn and Bleach all in the bottom 5 is quite the shock. Including Mago, that's 4 of some of WSJ's biggest sellers right now, tankoubon-wise. Beelzebub had been doing pretty well lately so suddenly dropping to bottom 5 is a surprise. No surprise for Bleach and it'll be interesting to see just how long it stays there.

Hanasaka Ikkyuu looks to be in a dangerous position as well. I really enjoyed the one-shot and while the series is pretty good too, I think I agree with Negative Syndicate that it might have been better suited for the one-shot format. I do see Ikkyuu as the one that is most likely to bow out next if its rankings don't improve. As I said earlier, despite Mago's low position, I don't think it is in much danger of cancellation right now. Perhaps St&rs will form the next cushion. It's sci-fi, something very different to Jump and who knows how the readers will take to it.

KHR at bottom 5 totally deserves it. Totally. Last fews chapters are totally the worst it ever had in its 300+ chapters.
Maybe it'll stay at the bottom 5 for awhile. I am not even afraid of offending khr fans for saying this since even its readers loathe the latest arc.

A surprising bottom 5 indeed. I wonder why Beelzebub is so low, I quite enjoy it at the moment. And I also fear for Ikkyu. It had potential to my eyes but I must agree that their are some weakness.
As for Mago I think if the last chapters are not well received, it will seriously start to have some issue.

ST&RS (Color Page, 25 pg.)
Sket Dance
Bakuman
Medaka Box (Color Page)
Magico
Gintama
Enigma
Kochikame
Kuroko no Basket
Inumaru Dashi
Hanasaka Ikkyuu
Beelzebub
Reborn!
Bleach
Nurarihyon no Mago
Sengoku Armors (End)

#32:
Lead Color: Bleach
CP: Harisugawa in Mirror world
Now that's a TOC I can get behind. Magico in 6th? Enigma at 8th? PERFECT. Combine that with continually respectable showings for Inumaru Dashi (respectable for a pretty low-selling-yet-long-running gag series, that is), Sket Dance and Bakuman and... well, it's all just what I want
