i believe someone said it was false information though i cant remember if they did or not.

thats also possible and the same thing could be said about medaka since if i remember correctly beel didnt get lead color or cover when it got its anime announced but it did get extra pages and a color page. as for it being far off defenitley not since this is the time jump fiesta ovas get announced and kuroko and medaka box are literally the only things that jump can make into ovas at this time.

Damn that Katsura's new art-book is too expensive.. I mean I love its works but its funny how an artbook its more expensive than buying every manga he has published.

ya it only says anime same thing for kuroko. but we will find out if they get ovas soon since jump is supposedly giving more info in a later issue *hopes imagashi is directing the medaka box anime and they get the vomic people too reprise their roles with a epic OST*

well.....crap it seems like medaka box may be a 26 episode series http://twitter.com/#!/cyan3/status/118715183941173250 this person is the one who gave the tip of it being in production in the first place so its likely true......we wont see kumagawa ;_;.

Won't this be better than a filler[scenes] ridden series? There's always the possibility for a sequal series, as often seen in the last years, you just need to add a "!" to the name. :P Ouran High School was very good despite only being a 26ep series.

the thing is i cant remember a time where gainax gave a show a sequel the closest is evangelion and that was just one movie so my anticipation for this has dumbed down greatly. not too mention alot of fans will be angry since kumagawa is the most populer character in the series....by far.
@schabrak honestly i dont mind fillers as long as we get too kumagawa as for the sequel i doubt it since gainax has yet too make a sequel for any of its series excluding evangelion which is why im doubting their would be a sequel for medaka. and medaka box literally doesnt get good till chapter 26 which we probably will see in the second cour at least.

Your forgetting that this is a JUMP series, we're talking about. Those are pretty much ALWAYS guranteed to get a second season. There's no reason to assume Gainax is going to run this under the same rules they do for everything else.

Your forgetting that this is a JUMP series, we're talking about. Those are pretty much ALWAYS guranteed to get a second season. There's no reason to assume Gainax is going to run this under the same rules they do for everything else.

Well the fact that Gainax might adapt this is kinda out of left field as well. So things aren't running as they usually are to begin with.

gurren lagann got remake movies not really sequels. shikabane hime was a split cour series like medaka box will be. mahoromatic was also a split cour series and top wao nerae is in the same case as eva where it got movies too wrap up the story.
