Unfair?

Color page chapters and breaks is when chapters are not ranked, so to fit them together One Piece when it gets a break and when it is time to rank that chapter they put in a color page that is also not ranked.

Unfair in that they're obviously trying to cover up the fact when OP doesn't get #1. For all we know, the chapter that's ranked next week could be #3 and they're trying to hide it from the readers.

Why would they do that? Nothing wrong with number 3, which One Piece has gotten plenty of times before.

But such a chapter does not exist, it was on a break and instead o having One Piece like this:

OP: not ranked due to break

They just add in the color page, also not ranked.

Though I misread the chapter's numbers, it's actually 635 being ranked next not 633 which was on a break, sorry.

As of this week Enigma has had its 52nd chapter and now has enough chapters for its 6th Tankobon Volume.

If it's going to be cancelled it will most likely be either next week (Issue #45) or the week after (Issue #46) with a larger than average final Tankobon (Kanata Seven Change, Mx0, Chagecha etc). If it can survival until Issue #47 it should be pretty safe for a couple of weeks.

A series can also be cancelled before the neccessary amount of chapters needed for a Tankobon. In which case usually a oneshot of the series or another oneshot by the author is added.

At least, Enigma will be safe till the end of this year.
Enigma's 1st character poll result will be released in early November.
So there'll be more chapters for one or two more tankoubons.

It looks like Murata (illustrator of Eyeshield 21) will be return with new manga. But, it is not confirmed either he'll be serialized in WSJ or SQ or other place.

If true, this is wonderful news! Since Prism Car ended it is completely plausible that he'd be starting a new series soon. I wonder if he will write or not.

One Piece ranking higher than five but lower than one would not exactly stop the presses. It's happened plenty of times. I recall Naruto, not One Piece ranking number one practically every week in 2009 through the spring of 2010.

I'll say an early farewell to Enigma. It had a really good start and was the best out of the 2010 series, but the intrigue it had in the beginning didn't last.

I'm genuinely surprised by Reborn's ranking, and I'm happy that Sket has the "bronze" medal.

Even without Vongola GP, khr is already very 'bling-bling' (the same way as Yu-Gi-Oh is) 'kids friendly'. I think i remembered a fan mentioned that her 4 years old brother being a big fan of it. And in one of Jump-Bang (spelling?) shows, khr seems to have quite a lot of primary school fans. :'p

Talking about Vongola GP... i am very sad nobody seems to scan the raws (or is it?). ;__;


I didn't read Metalluca. Is it really that bad? imo, I the worst i had read is Lock-On. (no hard feeling to the author)

Seeing Bleach characters in SD mode is really weird, at least it's an own style, unlike DB SD with Naho Ooishi. I prefer Oda's omakes over Chopperman and Tite's own humor in his rare omakes. But well, it's aimed at little kids, not adults anyway. Would love some more frequent
