I'm not sure this info is real or not, but reaction from 2ch seems plausible, so I'll upload it just in case.

Well he's sure getting to work fast. I hope this one shot turns out well...and that it's also a battle manga. I couldn't imagine him doing another genre...well perhaps a thriller but if that happened and it ended up in the magazine against Enigma...yeah.

Wow, the Cover for Sengoku ARMORS is quite brilliant, I'd say... I really like it! (Even though I wasn't thrilled at the new character designs at first, they're working greatly for me!)

As for Iwashiro:
Yeah, wouldn't be too surprised if he'd do a Oneshot in Jump NEXT. It's quite the routine...

I hope he gets serialized again. Psyren was pretty good during its peak. It would be catastrophic if he attempted a thriller/mystery though. Enigma is better off without competition until it's popular enough to stay in the magazine even if its ranks fluctuate.

i don't know why many of you hate naruto, yet you love one piece!!

i have to translate one piece, but to be honest i think last chapters were very boring, every thing is the same... there is no plot or intersting developments. i thought after the war and haki the story would take a different turn!!

it makes me wanna kill my self :(

No lol Oda has a nice pattern of slowly building up each arc. I honestly like it. It's different from other Jump manga that just jump into the climax instantaneously. Creates better character development if you ask me.

Now, I read all of new series. I enjoyed all of new series (except Grimm, I don't read short page gag series); I, personally, want all of them to survive. So, I would be happy for Hokenshitsu and Oumagadoki to be bottom cushion for these three series; I also like Hokenshitsu and Oumagadoki, but Dois Sol, Magico, and Sengoku Armors look much better than those two.

Ah so Magico is good too? I like Dois Sol and I loved the oneshot for Sengoku so I'm sure the series will be good but if Magico is good too then I'm just gonna be sad when cuts come around D: Something I like will die next cuts :(

The series that most worries me is Dois Sol. Dois Sol is kind of Magazine-style sport, rather than Jump-style sport. So, I'm not sure how Jump fans going to see realistic sport series.

I'm not sure how Magico going to do on ranking. But, first two chapters are kind of like mix of fantasy and romantic-comedy. Since Jump has no romantic-comedy series, I think Magico can take advantage of that.

Sengoku Armors is good as I expected, so I'm not going to say anything about it.

yeah, the current new line-up is great :D

Dios Sol is really nicely done, and feels a lot like ES21. it indeed is not a Jump-style manga, but still its much more promising then any sport series WSJ came up with for the past few years.

I personally really like Magico. It has a nice atmosphere, and I like the mix of fantasy and romance.

the first chapter of Sengoku Armor didn't impress me that much, but it definitely has lot of promise. (though it feels a lot like Akaboshi....)

Magico and Dios Sol don't feel like a Jump series at all, so I wonder how these two are going to work out. It would be great if they all survive.

Didn't like Sengoku Armors quite as much as the oneshot, but it was good towards the end and I'm willing to wait and see how things develop. I'm not totally sure whether I can see it succeeding or not, but it would be cool if it got a chance to.

It is just Oda being Oda: he always starts slowly.

In my opinion Kishimoto made a huge mistake with the revive-everybody-thing. I especially hate that Zabuza came back, because I really loved how they ended him.

It's logically that One Piece is not as good now as it was in the end of the war arc, but as many have already said: Oda build things up slowly. Personally I like One Piece at the moment, but I don't want this arc to be any longer than 30 to max 50 chapters. I want to see the new world, and I don't really like underwater-stuff.

well you are right, but i hoped the story would be more aggressive. i too want to see the new world. so i can't stand waiting for another 50 or 60 chapters of the underwater stuff ( which i hate by the way ) :(

Based on the raws:
* Sengoku armors: I can't tell anything about the story but the art is good. A manga aimed at young adults. It looks pretty good but the mangaka made one huge mistake imo. The girl meeting the hero or the hero meeting the girl has been a concept that has been overused lately in a lot of failed manga like Hitomi no Catoblepas, Akaboshi, Metallica Metalluca, Kagijin and a lot of other ones I forget. Its success lies within Rurouni Kenshin. Let the Hero hang around with a leading female protagonist. Let the villains come to them. It's a detail which can be decisive imo...
* Magico: art is okay nothing more, the images didn't impress me at all. Yet again, girls meets hero and yet again they go on an adventure :s
* Dos Soil: sports manga don't have a future in wsj unless it is brainless entertainment like PoT or innovative entertainment like ES21. Kuroko no Basket has already taken the first concept, question is: will Dos Soil be innovative enough to survive? Well, it is at least better than my star, light wing, shounen shikku

Well, I also read three of the new series (always forgetting to take a look at Dois Sol...) and I thought that the overall quality in the batch was quite something this time around! Still, I don't think that more than one of them has a real chance to stick around for a longer time... as for each series for itself:

Märchen Ouji Grimm
At first I thought the art was kinda stylish but after seeing some more of it I'm no longer that convinced. The jokes were pretty lame (to be honest: not very funny at all) and throughout the whole first chapter I smiled like... 2 times. Yupp, "smiled" not "laughed".
Not as blant and sucky as Wajimania was but nowhere near as good as Inudash.

magico
Currently my favorite series out of the batch. Contrary to Koen I found the art to be pretty cool, well done and fitting for its genre. I'm not that big on Love-Comedy, so I'll have to see where it's heading to, but overall it stood out to me as fresh and entertaining.
I also have absolutely no idea how it'll fare on the rankings... maybe the lack of direct opponents genre-wise can be a plus. Yet Ane-doki failed, too.

Sengoku ARMORS
Wholeheartedly agreeing with Galactic Tomahawk, not as good as the Oneshot IMO. I honestly have my doubts this series will get good ratings. It's not bad, actually quite decent, but that's about it. For a battle oriented action series it doesn't stand out very much at this point.

Dois Sol
If it really has a Magazine feel to it, I'm looking forward to read it! (I also liked K.O. Sen a lot and never understood how it could fail so horribly... :/) Though if that should be true, then DS is doomed...just remembering Hoopmen (:scry), which was also too great for the retarded JUMP readers to get good ratings. Back then, a lot of people felt Hoop had Magazine-ish style...
