I'm guessing yes, they did like chapter one, based on the editors placing unranked chapters in the top 5. No guarantee, but after five years of following the TOC, something that rarely happens, and always feels like a good sign.

Assassination Classroom have much more potential to become a flagship than nisekoi and Haikyuu. The same goes to Sensei no Bulge. And have someone seen something about bulge on 2chan?

I will give the series a double octopus circle. He's waxing a fighter plane and grading tests at mach 20, what's not to like about that? And the best of all, we have a clear ending already with them being in the third year already.

Medaka Box is in front of Kochikame this week.

He also said that Medaka started on page 479 which would usually mean that it would be last place but then said that Kochikame went over the 500th page. This is really strange because Jump doesn't usual doesn't go over 500 pages in length.

The spoiler provider couldn't remember much about the TOC and couldn't go into details because he can't take the super early issues of Jump home with him.

He is the best teacher they have ever had, the first to ever understand them.

What is not to like? Assassination Classroom may be even more bizarre than Neuro!

I;m confused. Wasn;t Medaka supposed to have a Center Colour page this week?

It does, this probably just means Medaka is back of the issue color. Takamagahara (new series) has front color, followed by HQ and Assassination Classroom, with Medaka closer to the back.

I'm gonna take an educated guess and say that Momiji will end at issue 39+- and that in issue 33 or 34 more likely the former we get a Bulge color page, I just checked all new series first 10 chapters TOC positions since 2010 and saw that all series that didn't get a color page at chapter 8-10 got canceled before chapter 20 and those that did get a color page at the very least survived a round of cancellations.

Why are you predicting a manga that has only been ranked twice, and never in the bottom five, will end in about eight issues? Are you psychic? Do you work for Shueisha?

First of all Momiji has been ranked once and not twice, it's last chapter was 9 since it debuted at issue 23 and at least by what I have picked up here chapters are ranked 8 weeks after their printing, looking at Magico, Enigma, Kurogane, HQ!!, Psi kusou Saiki, St&rs got color for chapter 7 and 13 and let's look on series that didn't get any color pages up to chapter 10...Sengoku armors, Dois sol, Grimm, Ikkyu, Swot, Light wing, that's why I called it an educated guess and instead of Momiji getting a color page like Saiki it's contender for the same genre Nisekoi got the color page which is bad news for it at least the way I see it - nothing psychic about that just like I don't use my crystal ball to guess that Bulge will get a color on issue 33 or less probable 34...although I'm leaning on very little information best thing that will happen is that I'm wrong and those who love the series get to enjoy it longer - it will be even better if I'm wrong when I think about it but still just felt like I wanted to give my take on things

now i also read assassin classroom, which was indeed fabulous, much better than his previous work. i like how he does something original and funny in a mainstream way. i mean he can do so many cool things in this setting. the only thing that could be worry some is the time span this story is set. he can use each season only once. maybe he intents to make it a "short" series, something under 150 chapters? for now i'm happy with his work and think it is the most unique one since deathnote.

Bolded is a fatal flaw, as St&Rs got cancelled very soon too, it's a wonder that editors let it live for so long to give it some kind of ending. Did you also look at the series that got a color page before chapter 10 and still got cancelled? And it's not like series as Magico and Enigma, which got cancelled after year+a bit are arguments supporting long running series.^^ Color pages can be used to push/promote bad running series too.

Since Matsui is in the mood, if you look at Neuro first ranks, they are similar to Momiji ones. Sket Dance and Medaka Box are also series which ranked terrible in the beginning but manage to survive and do well after. On the contrary some series with an early second color page like Paki, Ane Doki or Double arts were cancelled rapidly so you can't really tell.
