Isnt Viz too full to pick up new series? They lost Nisekoi and Bleach, and then picked up 4 series ( Neverland, Love Rush, Sprite and RWBY or however you spell it). Although considering two of those could be cancelled soon, they may pick Amalgram or Sprite up in a few weeks or theyll just do whatever new series start next round.

On another note, does anyone know if ESJ has ever dropped a series before that wasnt cancelled. Like it wasnt popular with their audience? Or do they stick with a series until the end?

If anything they'll replace Red Sprite and Love Rush with the series that replaced them.
I think Amalgam probably didn't get added because there's not a huge response towards it.
Neverland had a overwhelmingly positive reaction in the US so they jumped on it. And A lot of people were looking for Red Sprite to be apart of "The New Big 3" because Bleach had just ended. Even worse, some of the anime Youtubers like Forneverworld and Jamehayson were telling their followers that Jump followed Bleach up with Red Sprite "probably because they see it as the potential next Bleach", So it had a bit a of a fan base right off the back here.

I think Love Rush was just added to replace Nisekoi.
Amalgam and Sprig Weapon don't have the same talk that Neverland and Red Sprite had when they first released so I doubt they're getting added

Yeah, it seems Neverland is really popular in the US and for good reason. The story causes the readers to think and thus appealing to an older audience.

Honestly, I believe Neverland has the potential to be the next big series in Jump.

How long The Promised Neverland is taking to move on is what is stinging me in this series. I always had the fundamental rule in mind that long arcs in the beginning of a series is a bad idea and normally it is like that, but The Promised Neverland is going decently well despite this. I particularly want the series to move on as soon as possible, it is starting to get boring.

Yeah, the recent developments are anything but boring. But really, I don't think it'll take THAT much longer for them to escape the farm. I think by chapter 20 it could happen, possibly.

i havent really thought of Neverland as being slow. The whole point of the manga so far is the Orphanage, it would be a cop-out if they escaped so quickly. Its realistic that they have to take time to work out how to escape.

Maybe its just me because I feel like so many series are way too fast paced, but id rather it be slow and get more story and interactions than end up with something like Red Sprite that is going so fast we dont know a thing about anybody after 9 chapters. Neverland is the only series of the new 5 that doesnt lack in substance, the rest just feel kind of empty because of their fast progress. I dont even know the MCs names in Sprite, Distortion and Hero 1 because theres been so little anything so far, and I only know Love Rushes because it only really focuses on 3 characters.

Considering how much fodder it has behind it atm, it will be here for a fair while i think.

Since apparantly the preview teased nothing about a big announcement for BC, I'd say there won't be one. There might be a new series in the next few issues though since that happened last year, or we just might get the winner of the GFC announced.

According to Yonko the consecutive Clover covers are connected.
The only 3 manga I know got consecutive covers were Naruto, One Piece and Eye Shield 21.
Only Naruto and One Piece got connected covers with Ninja Road and Strong World.

I've had to just accept this too, but I really don't think it's that big of a deal it getting 2 covers in a row. The anime is probably coming up and they want it to be a big seller soon so they'll promote it as much as they can. I think ppl treat WSJ like a sport. Pretty sure it ain't one big ass competition and Black Clover is dominating the competition cause it got 2 covers

I personally don't like the idea of any series receiving consecutive covers. My favourite series by far in the magazine is MHA, and even that I'd be annoyed with. The simple reason is that I'd rather some other series that don't get as much covers to get one instead of a series getting 2 or 3 in a row. I understand that it's about promoting whats popular, or what they want to push... but I just can't shake that feeling.

Why does well written series get so much hate? Are people really that agitated that BLack Clover is actually really good. You have a lead that was fighting with sword in his mouth and friends going the distance to heal him. How rare and awesome is that?
