I'll try to make it a bit better to see why i think HinoZumo won't get an anime.

These are the numbers of HinoZumo's sales:
Volume 5: 20,959 Source
Volume 6: 21,084 Source
Volume 7: 27,070 Source
These are just the numbers for their first week, because after that they didn't even make the cut to the Top 50 anymore.

For comparison Haikyuu's sale numbers:
Volume 1: 31,428 Source
Volume 2: 81,413 Source
Volume 3: 123,180 Source

HinoZumo only survives because of a dedicated fanbase which gives it steady rankings. But what happens when that fanbase dies out? And is it worth it to produce an anime for less than 30000 people?
At this point it would make more sense to produce an anime for Black Clover in the next 1 or 2 years, to boost it's sales.
Like i said before, the anime its to make new people buy the manga, not just the one read the manga, go there and buy the Blu-Ray. Hinomaru jump from 21k to 27k volumes sold on less days after the Kurobass crossover, so i think that Jump really see that it can be big, dont forget that happened a crossover with one of the flagship titles of Shueisha, and it didn't happen because the autors were friends, like some Toriko.

Well, Hinomaru is 10 times better than Haikyuu. You can fell power while reading it. It is simply epic. It has same vibe as Slam Dunk had :D

I doubt people would agree with you or disagree. The fact that Hinomaru failed to capture more audiences might just prove that people don't see what you see in it. #opinions

You are wrong. People don't want to read it because it is about Sumo. Good anime would make it popular instantly because it is epic. Writing and art are far better than Haikyuu and Kuroko have.

Even with an anime there is no way it would get to Haikyuu or Kurobas levels.

Additionally I dont think good writing is necessarily a condition for something to be popular.

That's exactly what I think it's gonna happen. After My Hero Academia anime season ends (25 episodes?) Black Clover anime should be announced. They could do that in order to avoid sales and ranking cannibalization. If not for this year, certainly for 2017 so that way, they can swap seasons for each show (pretty much what production IG / JUMP did with Kuroko and Haikyuu).

Assclass anime should finish along the manga.

Since Haikyuu anime will be too close to the manga, we'll only have 2 JUMP manga with anime (One Piece does not count... obviously)

What you guys think?

nah, jump will cancel toriko first.
That's not gonna happen. It's way easier for Hinomaru to get cancelled or Toriko receive it's anime second season. Or hell... Even Bleach animu?

Here's your reply.
At least Haikyuu have unique design and characters unlike your oh-so hot headed cliche MC. Soma already did that, think of something new! Even Monofufu is doing well without that cliche.

Not...really? 143 was sixth place, 144 is bottom of barrel.

144 was pure Eizan hype and "I don't have a strategy" followed buffoon judges in chapter 145. 146/147 probably better than those two chapters.

142 was 9th place, 141 was 9th place too. Before the Eizan Arc it was in the top 5 and this week it's in the bottom 5.
I wonder how the readers will react to the Ketchup reveal.

Lol, you're still hung up on that ketchup bit, aren't you?

I think 147 should be fine, since it was the end of the match.

Yes, and looking at the ranking i think i'm not the only one.
I'm not sure about Japan, but 147 was generally well liked by most people from what I saw.
