I really need to try MHA, not sure why I haven't. Souma I watched the anime and was like wtf and dropped but I like Rindo and Erina, Souma too but the foodgasms (while funny) were just flat out strange to me. If I pick up again it'll be in the 100s

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread to ask this but, is WSJ on a break next week?
Yes, it is the right thread and yes, it is on break next week.

The Promised Neverland may win the Rookie of the Year Award, but it is still too early to say that it will enter in the hall of favorites.

Whenever Jump does that 1 week break, don't we usually get the chapters earlier than 2 weeks later anyway. Could have sworn something like that happened last year

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It depends on the raw providers really. But don't count on getting early releases, either. This time of the year is usually confusing, but best thing to do is to simply wait.

That's exactly why I think that JUMP needs veterans authors back. Assclass did all that success (not only obviously...) because of the hype being a "Matsui work".
Why would there be hype from a mangaka who's previous work got canned and wasn't very popular? Assclass success can largely just be thanked to luck really.

This.

We're now in the part of the year where we get back to back double issues, which means scan releases are unpredictable.

We may get early chapters, but the week off must be paid off no matter what so there is no way to escape.

My favorites are The Promised Neverland and MHA

Hinomaru Zumou it's okay, but... too much self-help in the battles.

Golazo may make its way as my 3rd favorite(1st is MHA, 2nd is One Piece), if it manages to survive

You mean Nougami Neuro? I thought it was a success... The MC is even present in jump star vs.

My favorites right now are: One Piece and Neverland

Yes a a support character. But I digress Neuro lasted for 25 volumes and sold 4.4 million copies a solid hit nonetheless but I wouldn't say AssClass success had anything to do with Matsui's name because we all know from looking at Watanuki (doing a Rurouni Kenshin sequel next year) that just because you were behind a successful series doesn't mean your next one will be a hit based on your name alone unless you're Toriyama or Togashi.

I really wish some Edited Manga picks Ole Golazo, because I don't think VIZ will pick a football manga.

Mine are World Trigger (rip) and Neverland, I feel like Samon would be up there but I haven't actually read past the first two volumes yet. Not really reading much else right now other than obvious food for the cancelation bear.

One Piece is my first manga and will remain one, so it is not really fair to compare it with the rest. So it goes something like this:

Tier 1: Gintama, Haikyuu!!
Tier 2: Kimetsu no Yaiba, The Promised Neverland, Hinomaruzumo, Sesuji wo Pin!
Tier 2.5: My Hero Academia, Saiki Kusuo no Sainan, World Trigger, Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san,
Tier 3: Shokugeki no Soma, Boruto, Black Clover
