I wasn't trying to make any point, it was just some trivia.

I don't think the historical genre would do well in Jump, but then again, nobody would have imagined that the pirate genre would do well in 1997, and there's One Piece.

About history and historical legends in Weekly Shonen Jump, the magazine has some, but they are most, if not all, of oriental origins. Also given that they are from Shonen Jump they aren't really realistic.
Hardly mangakas will care about western history, and it is even harder that a Weekly Shonen Jump author is interested in that.

It could work, but obviously not in a serious and historically correct fashion: there'd be a lot of the usual history altering and focus on teenagers (aka presenting known historical people as actually being teenagers or very young adults at best). Not that it is any hard rule or anything...

But I can remember one historical Manga form WSJ: Rurouni Kenshin

Wow, viz put it up very early.
Im not surpirsed about that as viz did not tranlsate the Seraph of the ENd special chapter either 4 weeks ago. But Im glad viz included in ESJ part of the KishixOda interview which was featured in WSJ, especially because I asked for that via twitter last week (I doubt viz has read my tweet)

Maybe they will put that seraph chapter in their in the next week in addition to our regular Seraph of BLue Exorcist. Im guessing a One Punch Man chapter will be in their next week too. I dont know what "surprise" they could have.

Dungeon is a popular word in fantasy series, but if a djinn appears we can add Magi in the crescent "Mangas copied by Black Cover" list.
I think I'm going to read it this week if I have time. It will be a funny reading.

In the last four chapters : Franky's new invention is met with no reaction from the girls (One Piece), 3 walls separating people (Attack on Titan), Zabuza arcs (Naruto), A rival magic guild turned out to be a dark magic guild trying to revive Zeref (Fairy Tail), Biscuit disguised as normal person that need saving (HxH)

I can't wait until Asta & Noelle learn about the Law of equivalent exchange in the next chapter
