Doing a rough weighted mean here we have: (2.6*9 + 12.2*10 + 13.2*30 + 16.3*16 + 21.3*13 + 23.1*19 + 11.3*25) /100 = 18.005
I pick the smaller age of the age group to represent the group for convenience. The real one tends to be a bit higher.

Well actually you can. Magico, Enigma, and Hinomaru Zumou all had great rankings at first. Look at them now.

A point like this will be truly valid only after we see the first week sales/second week sales of the first volume. Like the ones that you mentioned and Kurogane, they have shared higher middle ranking yet sold ~30K each and did not have almost any visible improvement in the following volumes (an increase of more than 15K, which is far les than any increase of a successful ongoing series has achieved, minus WT). Right now Black clover starts a new arc andthe author might take a bit more liberty towards original ideas that he had planned. I hope for the best for it since I started enjoying it once I gave up my perfectionist glasses and put on my fun ride glasses and it does have it's charms for me starting chapter 4.

I mean, I guess I could see them stopping oneshots for a little bit for the Boruto mini aNd the resuming them after with the GFC. But with Boruto being the first of the new batch, it could cannibalize the new series if readers aren't smart enough to vote for it.

I guess Naruto spinoff implies that we wont get any of the jump starts in our magazine after the three chapter thing. Oh well. no one posted anything to suggest reasons why one would be interested in the folks doing the new series. Though Ill be disappointed if one is baseball or soccer...

No, it won't. The ranking is above sales, the magazine is more important. It doesn't happen often though, generally high rank series sells well.

One of the new series is made by the author of Onani Master Kurosawa, Yokota Takuma.
His series will come in the 24 issue
