Is it still fair to rank WT though given that we know it is put on purpose on the back due its mangaka poor health? For all we know, its chapters could have gotten a lot of votes deserving a higher position which it won't get due the many breaks it has to take every couple weeks.

Speaking of the whole ranking stuff I just remembered that according to an interview with the editor of WT that was featured in english WSJ, WT reached first place in the japanese polls more than once. However, if you look at past TOC rankings you will not find WT on first place.

---------- Post added at 07:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:14 PM ----------

By the way, japanese sites are using average rankings of the past 8 weeks instead of the whole year. It makes more sense to me than any other attempt of using math to rank the series in an analytic way

This is the rankings of World Trigger in 2015 so far:

9, 5, 7, 4, 10, 6, 13, 9, 8, 9, 9, 8, 10, 7, 12, 10, 5, 11 = 8.44

2014:

5, 2, 6, 10, 10, 6, 9, 5, 6, 7, 10, 10, 14, 8, 8, 7, 9, 6, 11, 12, 9, 10, 9, 8, 4, 10, 6, 10, 11, 13, 10, 7, 6 = 8.30

2013 (year that it was released):

6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 11, 13, 3, 8, 8, 9, 8, 6, 8, 6, 10, 6, 8, 6, 8, 8, 9, 9, 5, 10, 8, 6, 7 = 8.07

As you can see there's no much difference so I don't think that they are putting it in the back purposely.

yes, it's more sensible. Cover,CP potition, and Absent being calculated.
world trigger : ↓トリガー…12.167↓
(15 休 16 16 *1 休 *8 17)
first place = cover
休 = absent

CP potition being counted kagamigami 7th this week, ansatsu 2nd, blackclover 5th because there's naruto gaiden above although it didn't ranked, boku no hero 8th. I think the best way to see the rank is just seeing the TOC picture, that's all.

but i don't understand what the meaning of " * "?

They use the asterisk to keep alignment, without having to use a spreadsheet. This may be lost due to different formatting in a different site.

Lol. Man, I love the Globes. They really do love pure, white things, huh? I imagine Mako and Aster would be insta-friends given both have very eccentric and lively personalities. He would definitely be some incredible muscle to have around the office, too, that's for sure.

Well Tabata was Iwashiro's assistant after all, as was the author of Beelzebub.

Folie a deux one-shot in esj was interesting

the villain guy reminds of the akumas from D-grey man

his motives (making human chimera?) reminds of from FMA

the way he was taking down & sealed reminds me of kekkai sensen

& they left us with so many unanswered questions, what is the place where do Nero & Abigail work? what are those monsters exactly? what happened to Abigail in the past & how does it relate to her powers? is Nero just a dude with a gun?

pochi kuro mangaka was one of Iwashiro's assistants too

The Oneshot was great! I could imagine a title like that would fit very well into Young Jump, respectively Tonari no Young Jump.

Did anyone read the japanese and the english version? Are there any differences worth mentioning? It seems the translation was done by the very authors themselves since neither a translator nor an editor is mentioned at the last page of EWSJ.
