A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted with by a deus ex machina with the girl’s phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day’s confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn’t exist in this universe at all. She is the girl’s alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC’s own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

I wasn't basing my claim on his "nice hair", at least not completely. He just outright looks like a girl, more like the typical swimmer tomboy friend of the female MC. Short silky smooth hair, round eyes and face, small nose.

Cross Account wasnt anywhere near as good as the opening pages made it seem. Not terrible, it might have a chance. BUt I wasn't left with particularly high expectations of it. Shoodan on the other hand was great and comfy again.

Cross Account feels weirdly unfitting in Jump to me for some reason, almost like it's been transplanted from the 90s with a modern premise and maybe some hints of Champion and Magazine thrown in.

With how the kind of series it is, is it worth it? It's the same as Claymore, it doesn't deserve a continuation.
What defines Claymore is fight scenes after fight scenes, not for deep character or lore exploration, and unfortunately this continues past the point where the anime ends. Reborn is defined by fight scenes and cool powers, not for deep not character or lore exploration... You get the idea.

Is it me, or it's really difficult for a harem or romance shonen series to have an engaging pilot chapter? The good stuff is always in the next chapters, but not so much in the 1st chapter, so obviously, maybe Cross Account later amounts to something.

Cross Account shouldn't be in Jump. They should test it in Jump+ honestly.

I wonder if Spring Weapon will survive for much longer, it hasn't been ranking well lately and the volume sales are almost non existent. Next up in the chopping zone would be Marie since it seems to be ranking really badly. Then we have Cross Account and Shoodan, which could both completely fail to take off. Bokuben is in shaky territory since it doesn't have enough stability in my opinion, but it has the manga I mentioned before as cushions to help it survive. Dr. Stone and RxL seem to be relatively safe in my eyes, but I think the volume sales will be an important factor as well.

I don't know if I'm wrong to expect anime adaptations for the following:
Yuragisou no Yuuna-san (2018)
Kimetsu no Yaiba (2018-2019)
Yakusoku no Neverland (late 2018-2019)
Hinomaruzumou (Soon™,please?)

In my opinion Dr. Stone is trying way to hard as far as it's plot is concerned, which is why I believe it won't be around for to long it'll either get axed or the author will end the series early because they ran out of ideas.

As far as when the series you mentioned getting animes goes I think Yakusoku no Neverland is one of those series that will wait until it's near it's end to have an anime, Yuragisou no Yuuna-san is one of those series that you just have to wait and see, Hinomaruzumou to me if it doesn't get an announcement before it end, and I'm just guessing it will soon, then it's probably not getting one, and as far as Kimetsu no Yaiba I really can't see getting an anime not because's it's not popular but I see it as one of those series that will probably never get one.

If Shueisha is so impatient to make money with The Promised Neverland (I doubt for many reasons), they can go with an anime that goes until the escape, I think it can give them a 12 episodes season, but I don't think that's a good idea. The first part of the series is interesting, but it is more like a chess game between the kids and the mother, it doesn't have much to take advantage of the unique aspects that an anime brings... Read or watch doesn't make much difference.

I'm pretty sure Shueisha isn't the ones responsible for a series getting an anime that really lies with the production company on whether they think the series is profitable enough to be worth picking up to animate.

How anyone can claim that Kimetsu no Yaiba doesn't seem like the type of series to get an anime is beyond me.
It's a conventional battle manga that ranks well and its sales have been rising with each volume

Sales are definitely improving and I wonder how it does in digital sales. It gets great reviews on Amazon. I would like to believe it has a high chance of an anime.The art is improving too; looking at the latest color page is probably the best the series has to offer atm. Check it out if you can (chapter 66)

Same goes for Yuragi/TPN. (aside from the art improvement)
