Emergency Reprint for Dr. Stone Vol.01

It's been a while since a jump cover with something different than art only. Looks cool.

Gintama feels very close to ending now but every time it seemingly gets closer there's some big new twist or another bunch of characters showing up. If there's no more of those I'd give it about 20 more chapters (ending late this year), though I can see it lasting well into next year if there's another big twist or a lot of post-finale wrap-up.

And even then that money is in BD/DVD sales but taking mnerchandise as a whole you see that DBS and One Piece are on top.

Also, this is pretty damn close to what I imagine Todoroki looking like as an adult. Which reminds me about the Horikoshi-Umakoshi interview that was just translated, where they discussed about how Todoroki isn't even as "bishonen" as most examples or how he doesn't stand out among them even though he's billed as one.

You're right. I didn't realize it because FA put up "support the series" pages before the chapter, so it felt longer than it's supposed to be.

I like it :3 but he forgot the Zuko burn scar so it was something he must of did in a hurry. Still cool to see however .

Mangaka reservation about what is happening to them goes against them at these circumstances because they don't open up and their work start to degrade and without saying anything we can only assuming that he is slacking. The majority of the mangaka handles the workload just fine.

I didn't even realize it, like Newerzky said FA translated some of the ultra archive stuff and padded the support the series ads in the beginning like how MS does. Plus the chapter was hella good so guess another reason I didn't pay any mind to it.

To be fair to Kubo, who knows how much he draws these days. It does look like Ichigo with Todoroki's hair and eyes but it's cool to see and either the same or better than Tabata's

I can probably give it a pass if this was meant to be a "What if" 10 years later thing, but that barely looks like Todoroki. As for his similarity with Ichigo, it could very well be indicative of the "sameface" syndrome that plagued Kubo in the late stages of Bleach.

Well it's going to look like you're typical Bleach character. He's been drawing in that style for like 15 years so ofc you're going to see it.

I like these tribute drawings because I want to see a character drawn in a different style. I wouldn't want a replica or something very similar to the source character. There are better examples of tribute drawings, don't get me wrong but this tribute Kubo did is fine. It looks like he did it quickly so what do you expect.
