What does the age of the manga have to do with anything? If they had something to announce, then they would've announced it.
I feel like it has something to do with things when HZ didn't exactly take off that much in 3 years and when there are newer things they can give some extra exposure to, like Kimetsu no Yaiba and Neverland, which are already doing better than HZ.What does the age of the manga have to do with anything? If they had something to announce, then they would've announced it.
I feel like 8-9 would be the appropriate number.I didn't say it was a bad thing, I want to know how many battle manga is appropriate for jump?
I agree, this breath of fresh air is the best thing that could've happened to the magazine right now. Things were too stale and the magazine was too hard to get into before, but things really changed for the better in 2016 when big series were gradually ending one by one. I feel like a lot of people aren't appreciating just how good the current lineup is because they're mad their favorite manga finished. This refresh also happened with Weekly Sunday and Weekly Shounen mag to an extent.Honestly this is the best lineup Jump has had since 2004 at the earliest.

This coming February is going to be an interesting battle. The magazine's numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5 in terms of sales are all released on the same day. Heroaca has almost never been released alongside Haikyuu and its been over a year since it was released alongside HxH (volume 33 was the last time the two were released on the same day).HxH Volume 35 will be released on February 2nd.
All info from the issue already released / stuff from JF.

Hinomaru is also entering a new arc.
Ikr, I read those chapters in 0.1 seconds. it's that good/entertaining. Even when it rushing a lot towards the end, it was almost always a fun read.A lineup without Toriko is no lineup for me.![]()
Identity crisis? I thought Jump had a wide range of manga since it’s beginning?.i wouldn’t consider Kimetsu No yaiba, MHA, and TPN are soft and not tenseIdk about best, it's just more diverse. Big 3 era raised expectations for us way too much. And when I mean era I mean just all the great series running when all 3 were ongoing. TLR raised expectations for romance and harems, FMA raised expectations for sci-fi mecha, the list goes on for the other genre. The identity crisis that's occurring in Jump is they preach of wanting good characters with cool powers but want things to be soft, less tense, and unproductive. This picture describes what the future is Jump is leaning to:

We all know that HxH will squash them all in terms of sales. This coming February is going to be an interesting battle. WNL's collab poster is titled "Bokutachi wa Golf ga Dekinai", so you can guess what series it's collaborating with.--- Double Post Merged, , Original Post Date: ---

And why was he rushed? Does it ever cross your mind that the series becomes bad, loses its fan base, and forced to rush?Shark, there's a reason he was rushed. They basically told him he had X number of chapters to wrap the series up. Because of that, he was forced to skip large portions of world building, and even the entirety of a potential space arc.
Hell, the final chapter told us about the Gourmet God's, and Toriko himself only fully awakened ONE of his THREE inner gourmet demons. There was so much more to be told.
