It was a volley kick, not a bicycle. The first is rather easy to do, the second not so much. In a bicycle you have to be upside down while hitting the ball.

Thanks for the comparisons, it does seem like they're really similar. Hopefully it branches off into its own thing like black clover did. I enjoy ole golazo but that's probably because I haven't read slam dunk. I'll read that instead of world trigger once I finish the one im currently reading. Sadly im almost done with the current series but I'll get to that later

Also I just realized their names are pretty similar as well. They both have 2 words, with the second one being a flashier way to score than the more conventional ways. Now I'm starting to think moue may be taking a little too much inspiration from slam dunk...

Don't really care about the Slam Dunk similarities. I think Bamba is a unique enough character, or at the very least he's a lot different than the current MCs in sports series. And I'd say the over the top, supernatural expect of the series separates it enough, because future matches will be completely different.

I'd say the comparison that they both do the simplistic catoonish art in comedic moments, and use gags referencing real life people is a bit of a stretch though.
Tons of series do that. I mean, even if he's drawing from Slam Dunk specifically, that's still a very common thing in manga in general. Plus even then, the author still has to write in his own jokes

To me it's clearly inspired by Slam Dunk, but not the point where I think artist is completely ripping Slam Dunk.
