I'm sure there's a reason for Soma being below Isobe, like the color page meaning they needed to move it up a bit. Still hilarious.
Also I read next issue's oneshot author as Yagi Tomohiro for a minute, I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to it more or less now.

Shokugeki no Soma below Isobe is really strange and I don't think that it is the actual ranking of the series. I remember that sometimes delay in delivering the manuscript can lead to low rankings, maybe that was the cause.

Oh man. So much to say about this TOC.

First off, nice to see One Piece back in first to where it belongs. The king of manga should sit in the king's throne.
Gintama in 2nd?! Is this the highest placement for it ever? That's amazing to see.
Kimetsu in 3rd is great. Whoop whoop!
That Souma rank though... couldn't help but chuckle to see it lower than Isobe lol
Hero Academia on break... not good. I guess we know why the previous chapter was all sketchy looking. Hope he returns next week.
Hype to see Dr. Stone this week. Hope someone translates it quickly, preferably on Thursday.

This is certainly an interesting TOC this week a lot of series got shifted, some more surprising then others. I haven't been keeping up with Gintama so I'm assuming something big happened to cause it's sudden jump, and what in the world happened to cause To Promise Neverland's sudden plummet to bottom five?

Even though this is Horikishi's first absence I can't help but get weird/bad signals especially after last weeks half finished chapter.

My comment last week regarding Yuragi was spot on. Yuragi's readers do not want to see romance (rank should be chapter 46). They want to see shenanigans chapters.

SnS (198) was a really sad chapter (to me at least). Oh well, hope it gets back up next week.

This TOC will create chaos in the natural order of things. Gintama reversed its position from one week to another, Shokugeki no Soma is last without reason at all, Yuragi was in 5th and not it is before last. Horikoshi didn't endure and was swallowed by a black hole caused by the chaos. What a disaster.

Looking forward to hopefully an increase in Kimetsu's volume sales with the 5th one coming out this Friday.

Hopefully that Yuragi anniversary cover comes soon. Some of the predictions I've seen on JP threads is that they may have delayed the volume release due to the new series coming in and Jump possibly wanting to advertise the 5th volume with a cover (Volume releases April 4 on a Tuesday).
Either way hopefully it comes in March.

This is bait, but I will bite.

The Soma ranking (198) is a depressing chapter, as it contains crying Gin and Jou's departure. Sad/Depressing/Smug Antagonist chapters simply don't do well and aren't "enjoyable".

Keep in mind that chapter 195 (the start of the Jou flashback) was highly ranked.
