I find it odd that there are still no news about the BC anime. They announced it in december and that it would be made my Pierrot, but that's it. It's been almost 3 months with no news.
For comparison Souma's anime was announced at the end of october 2014 and it started in april 2015. BnHA's anime was also announced at the end of october 2015 and it also started in april 2016.

It should come next week with the CP or at it's anniversary.

I can see many Naruto VA cast participating BC project.

Possible, since it's Naruto same studio/director and stuff that will work on BC

I think people here are analyzing BC very wrongly. I don't think it's "selling bad" I think it's selling A LOT. Hell, for a "very bad, no history, stupid mc, no fanservice, harem, ecchi, plot, characterization... no NOTHING" manga to achieve good (and consistant) positions on TOC and sell more than 50k in less than 3 days is no small feat in my opinion...

But wtv, let's continue. Saiki / Kimetsu / Spring Weapon / HZ/ the now defunct Dance Manga are all better and are doing WAY better than BC, right?

Anyone has TPN printed volume for 2 volumes yet ? My guess is that it has 300,000 printed copies given all that reprint of volume 1 and 120,000 first print.

Maybe, but I don't know about that. It is clear that only strong willed people were able to keep their consciousness alive for thousands of years. The two that survived are very peculiar characters, but the girl... She looks normal to me and most of the people that appeared right after humanity was turned in stone had their consciousness erased almost immediately. It is unlikely for me, given that was said and happened so far.

Supposedly, the rank chapter is a plot progression one, which makes me or anyone think that Japan hates plot progression in their harem, and they love more when it´s sexual wish-fulfillment

Nobody ever said that, at least not in the series. It sounds to me that she is one the final goals! The gu there who loves her said that he would rebuild civilization and save her. It would be interesting to turn her back to normal soon? I don't think so...

Rebuild civilization will take awhile (centuries or millennia), I don't know if they are going to survive to see the end of it... (Maybe if they got the power of immortality along with growing limbs. ).
In short, it is complicated... The series can fall apart easily... Everything was sudden and without explanation at all, maybe if they had done some world building before doing all that, it could make more sense. It is not fantasy, it is science fiction, it is settled in the real world as we know, so some rules apply like mortality. They can have more knowledge and rationality than humanity had in the stone age, but it is a long time to rebuild civilization even if you have the knowledge (they are high schoolers, so not that much knowledge XD). Anyway, it is complicated, the series is over an unsteady base.

I just finished Yuragi to the latest chaptes and I cannot for the life of me tell just what makes the series so popular (nicely drawn boobs aside) what makes this series popular while others like it failed? While I do l like the designs, all the characters seem to follow their archetypes to the letter to the point I kinda struggle to call them characters. Kogarashi is basically One-Punch Man if you took out all of the irony and character and just comes across as a blatant blank slate wish fulfillment character. I can't really bring myself to sympathize with anyone in this series which is kind of a problem when as a romance manga the entire is supposed to be on the characters.

Like what? Ecchi/harem/romcom manga that published in Jump in the past 5 years that I know are Lady Justice, E-Robot, Love Rush, Shokugeki no Soma, Nisekoi.

Don't make me start to talk about Lady Justice and E-Robot, they were bad. E Robot has an wet-noodle MC, Lady Justice relies on boobs to tell a story and it isn't even good.

Kogarashi is different than countless shonen harem MC out there. First, he doesn't have a love interest in chapter 1. Second, his jack of all trade is explained by "i got possessed back in the day". These two make great comedy chapters. The author has so much creative freedom with this. So far, Yuragi has a chapter where he draw a manga, play ping pong, cooking, gamble, etc..

You shouldn't treat it as a romance. More like a ecchi comedy manga with romance sprinkle on top.

I'm going to have to agrees with you that this series walks a fine line between it turning into a good story or falling apart. For me the writing is what could ultimately make this crash and burn since even with it's first chapter being as long as it was gave little to no plot progression just a guy wanting to tell his feelings to a girl and then they all get frozen in time, for lack of a better world, other then that absolutely nothing else happened no set up or anything just the end of the chapter.

Even if this is meant to be a series on how humanity is suppose to rebuild from the ground up this is considerable faster then it probably should be. If it keeps moving that fast I don't see a bright future for the series which is a shame the author could've stretched the whole find a way to un-petrify everyone through out the early parts of the series.

So Kimetsu is no longer member of the 30k club I am sad. And World trigger sold like 30k less than before.

I remember before I compared BC's peak success to World Trigger's. Bad idea, WT is still on fire even after it's anime end. Pretty impressive.

I hope WT returns this month, else it might just disappear altogether just like Ashihara after losing 8kg. I don't want it to become World Hiatus or Hiatus Trigger I already have enough Hiatus with Hiatus x Hiatus.

My guess is probably going to sell around the middle 300k's on the low end to MAYBE lower 400k's on the high end when the anime is actually aired. I agree that it's not going to be a mega hit like some might think it will be, personally I don't think that's what Tabata's going for with BC anyway, but it will probably be one of those series that people will know about and be one of those series that are in the category of "Hey your looking to start reading manga here give this a look through"

Then throw it away in the trash and slap the person who recommended it to you instead of the vast array of much better manga series for beginners.

I'd say it's a decent intro to anime for someone under the age of 13
