from 11 to 13?

shouldn't we compare using the most recent volume 12?
Your right we should. I was trying to compare it to Heroaca's peak volume as of the second week but having a second look volume 10 did better than 11 anyway so my comparison was pointless. Either way the sales for 13 show that the series may have a sales cap no matter what promotion shueisha implements or time slot of the anime. Considering season 2 is 2 cours we will just have to wait and see if that boost will come.

We've already seen the boost with the strong backlog sales as of late. I don't think we'll get much beyond that.

As a fan of HeroAca, it's somewhat frustrating to see the volume sales yoyo-ing back and forth even though it's generally doing good. It doesn't help that I'm still hung up on the 1st season of the anime not going to where the current season is at right now. Which just raises my grievances and misgivings even more....

I don't care that much about sales, since it's still doing good, even if it has hit its cap already. I just want it's chances of getting cancelled down the line to be relatively low is all.

I hardly think it's in danger of cancellation. It has very good sales, popular on both sides of the hemisphere, still has plenty of hype riding on it, and is pretty much the face of the magazine right now.

I just want it to be able to carry the torch for Jump, and to me HeroAca will truly, and rightfully deserve once its sales has a massive boom.

I was more talking about in 3-4 year's time. I'm sure the quality won't drop at least, given Hori's track record with the series so far, so hopefully the TOC positions will stay strong. I just don't want the ending to be rushed.

sudden realization

next issue Neverland will take the cover also U19 will reach ch 12 meaning it's the issue it will get the axe (99.99999% sure)
the issue after that Poro will reach ch 12

there's a possibility Kimetsu might not get the anniversary cover until all the new series that will replace them finish making their debut

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I want a KnY cover now :nerve

The last KnY cover was pretty rad. Although I always look forward to the covers with all the main characters on it. They're always fun.

Apparently the latest U19 had the MC fighting with the main villain (or about to) and in Poro the main villain was just introduced. Not sure how true this is. Didn't realise how close we were to the next cancellation round already. In which case that Samon colour may very well be announcing its end.

U19 old dude confronted the mc
Poro teased something sinister looking lurking outside the window

I feel like it's a bit too soon to be axing new stuff already, sure ch 12 is a pretty standard for cancellations but they just started 6 and RxL from the same batch still isn't ranked yet.

I think it's pretty safe to assume they know how all the series are being received by now.
I still kind of want Poro to be canceled so the author will start a Toteku series, just not this fast.

It's not so much about their reception, more that we just had a massive batch of new series and starting 2-3 new things so soon after feels a bit overwhelming, like they're bombarding us with too many in such a short period of time.

when Jump announced its 6 new manga round Jump Plus announced 8 new manga

Ao no Flag (doing well)
Aharen-san wa Hakarenai (doing well)
Route End (doing well)
Macho Gourmet (doing well)
Forward! Amateur Jump Expedition Party (editors commentary on how to make jump manga, not going anywhere)
Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae Dake ka yo (light novel adaptation, not going anywhere)
Inochi wo Waketa Kimi to, Jinsei Saigo no Yume wo Miru (Karada Sagashi author new work, will probably be just as successful)
Shuukyoku Engage (Fire Punch's successor, shock factor manga, popular on Japanese social media)

their big serialization round seems to be doing better than the main magazine

True, but theres no reason to keep them. Theyre nothing but a waste of space right now.

I look forward to a new round. I just want to have a good lineup of maybe 3 or 4 new things that stick.
