Is this accurate? Didnt Onde Piece, Naruto and Toriko anime started, and not annonced, around that time instead? Wasnt Onde Piece anime announced at the same time as HxH? I believe so, and One Piece manga didnt started 1 year after HxH(around 48 chapters), bit more Like half(24 chapters).
And Toriko took around 3 years for the anime to start not being announced.
Aldo isnt Naruto Chapter 134 the Gamambunta figthing Gaara one? That das where the anime started not where the announcement was made, or was it?
Toriko Ch. 123 anime announcement

One Piece / HxH TV anime announcement issue (WSJ 37/38, Aug 23, 1999)
HxH did not get color pages for it, OP got lead color (Ch. 100) for its 2nd anniversary.

Naruto TV anime announcement issue (WSJ 2002 Issue 37/38, Aug 26)
No color pages for announcement.

If there is no Yuragi announcement this year someone at Jump department will get the pink slip.

Tell to the editor in chief that they should meet with the same studio that made TLRD anime, they should be interested.

Wonder how quick Neverland will get its announcement. It's seems to at the point where it's not in danger of getting axed anytime soon now, so I would say the anime is inevitable now.

Never say that a manga is safe in Jump principally The Promised Neverland, which is going through a transition now. The next chapters could be crappy and jump readers would destroy it without mercy. We never know.

Yeah I know. But I seems to be in that Black Clover type zone right now in terms of sales and ranks. I mean, unless the writer really drops the ball and the quality makes a complete 180 I can't imagine it failing over all the new series as well as all of the usual bottom dwellers within the next few serialization rounds.
Seems to be doing better than pretty much every new series since Black Clover so far

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the whole appeal of To Promise Neverland was the kids escaping since they've for the most part accomplished that what is there else the series to do? I don't read the series I was just curious as to whether of not any other plot points have risen since it's start.

What would make or break the Promised Neverland for me is how the manga will handle death. Shonen Jump has never been great at handling that subject matter and despite the grim premise the Promised Neverland is still in a magazine marketed towards young adults.

I'm not saying that it needs to start killing off characters left and right but as a suspense/thriller it needs to set up the stakes and put it money where its mouth is.

Toei

XEBEC but they might want to animate the rest of TLR Darkness next year so Lerche or J.C Staff are my next choice

I also wanted to know since they didn't give many clues about what can happen. hahaha

They established pretty early that Emma's actual goal is to make a world without demons and get rid of the farm system that's turning these kids into sacrifices. She also
still has to eventually free the kids she left behind

The appeal is of Neverland is the suspense and the back and forth 'battle of wits' stuff, the escape is just the first arc.

What matters now is whether it can keep that appeal going now that they're out in the wild (or if it'll successfully take a different direction as a more adventure-orientated series or something).

Its funny you say that because despite that being so, the actual demographics of those that read the magazine right now are different. The media guide 2017 was released recently.
http://adnavi.shueisha.co.jp/mediaguide/2017/pdf/boys.pdf#page=2
On page 2 you'll see 2 pie charts.
The one on the left shows the age demographics:
Less than 9 years old: 3.2%
10~12 year olds: 9.6%
13~15 year olds: 16.4%
16~18 year olds: 17.6%
19~24 year olds : 25.8%
25 years old and above: 27.4%

You'll see the break down of the jump line in later pages but this is actually pretty close to the demographics of Young Jump, although that start from 16 and under. Most of those kids that grew up on One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, etc are still reading the magazine and those that grew up on Dragon ball are doing the same. New kids can't really get into those long series because buying all the volumes is too expensive even for a working person. There is an app where they regularly release a colored One piece chapter for free but even then you can't really get into it then. The anime is basically there for those kids.

Although just because the demographics are like this doesn't mean that the actual content will get more dark. Most of these people read this because they want to read stuff that appeals to 10~15 year olds.

I agree with that, I know what I expect from Shounen Jump and Young Jump, for example, and they are different things. You know what you are looking for whe you start to read a manga from a given magazine. Although resurrections out of nowhere still annoys me, I'm fine with that more now than I was in the past.... Well, the current series in Jump didn't give me any serious test recently, so this maybe the cause of my impression... XD

I'd rather it keep handling death the way it has so far, by treating each one as a big event and having it serve an important purpose in the story. There's a lot of different much better ways to add suspense than killing someone off, death in shounen series should never be used just for some cheap drama.

I agree with your statement but one of the scenes in the Promised Neverland that left me rather cold was
Ray's death. I am of two minds of this scene Don't get me wrong its was a very well executed fake-out but at the same time I felt that the manga undid what could have been the defining moment of the series. Only 30 something chapters into its run and already starting to tease the deaths of major characters it kinda felt that the series kinda "blew its load" too early.

Anything on Neverland that gets into specifics from recent chapters should go in spoiler tags, remember not everyone's up to date with the series so don't ruin the experience for them if they decide to read it.

Even though Neverland is pretty dark, i somewhat see it as a bit light hearted as well. Like, in a way, a slightly darker tone than The Goonies, or Stranger Things, but not quite as dark as something like Death Note(I know it's a premise about kids being eaten, but we don't actually see the act being done). I don't see things getting TOO brutal, and don't see the series having a whole lot of deaths like some people expect.

what are you talking about?
this is the tournament to become pro
this is the final match
and 3/5 matches are already over
This is wrong... This tournament will give Hinomaru the chance to participate in the All-Japan tournament (if he defeats Kuze) which is against everyone in Japan, not just students. Then if we wins the All-Japan, he gets fast tracked to pro. I dont think it will be dragged out though, especially as its only singles. Theyre not gonna focus on fights against new characters at this point. It may very well just skip straight to it after the current tournament. Either way should end very soon.
