Since its more than likely we'll only get a handful of chapters before another hiatus what would you like to see out of Hunter x Hunter? Story-wise at least.

Just cos some nerds online tell you HxH is great it dosent mean it is. Really its on black clover level. Of course fanboys wont see it.
Your not even trying with your baiting anymore. Hunter x Hunter is easily one of the highest quality series to come out of jump up there with One Piece.

I honestly don't think we'll make it to the dark continent during this run.

I like hxh... It's not better than Yuyu Hakusho though.

The Greed Island arc however is the most cohese arc that I have ever read.

To create a whole (balanced) TDG to be used only in one arc? That is amazing.

My only interest in Hunter x Hunter is as a bet material. How many weeks it will last? Let the bets begin. :derp
I bet it will certainly not last until the end of the year. XD
Another bet is how many commentaries Togashi will complain about his back pains. In this one, I bet all of them.

That's a dumb bet since the previous runs show it's likely to be only 10 or so chapters.

I see a lot of praise for HZ. How is the manga? What's good about it?

My bet is a winner then? Glad to hear. XD
How can you be so sure? You don't have faith in the author you worship? XP

It's called being realistic. Togashi's health isn't at a good state.

What Zumou excels at the most imo is hype (and of course the pay-off to the hype), each fight would only be a few seconds in real time when you think about the actual sequence of events but the series makes them feel like the most incredible intense battles. Even things as simple as one guy stepping to the side is really exciting to read due to how Kawada portrays them. You can really tell how much he loves the sport and he's great at getting across what he loves about it.

it's definitely worth a read, even if you aren't interested in Sumo you probably will be by the time you catch up.

Also at this point it's pretty much guaranteed to get a full complete run with a natural ending that won't get milked years past where it should end, so there's that too.

Maybe you have very good sources, but what we readers see is him complaining, officially we don't know what is his problem and how serious it is. We don't actually know how much is really illness or just goofing around. No need to throw stones at me, just saying the truth.

I remember there being an interview last year where his editor (I think) talked about there being 20-something HxH chapters mostly ready for serialisation, so we could potentially get more than one volume of content. I'm not expecting it though, it's not worth getting hopes up for.

I was think about it now and if he makes only 10 chapters per years, this makes 200 pages per year, right? This is less than one page per day for a year! If he is in no condition to draw at least one page per day, he is no condition to draw at all. It will take centuries to go anywhere with the series at this rate.

So by your logic, anyone who does a monthly series that's less than 30 pages a chapter shouldn't be drawing at all?

I guess at least ten magazines I can think of just off the top of my head are going to stop being published now that none of the authors are fit to draw anymore.

Do you really think that they draw just that in a month? They probably have a lot ahead of time, or at least they should be...
But we are talking about weekly manga here, 20 pages per week, around 960 per year, 2.6 pages per day. This is a huge difference. 200 pages per year is 0.5 pages per day, by the way.

Either you know what the authors are doing after they finish drawing their ten pages a month or you don't. If you don't, then you should really stop making assumptions about their schedules and/or health issues, and if you do then that'd actually be kind of creepy.

And because the numbers apparently matter so much, weekly series are 18 pages, by the way.

I could say the same about you guys then because you are assuming a lot of things here about Togashi health issue (or the existence thereof) without knowing nothing at all.
I am not doing anything wrong in assuming that people that makes manga for a living have pages ahead of time just in case, it is just obvious. We know that mangakas that publish weekly have a 2-3 weeks of advantage. If something goes wrong, the author can rest one week without compromising the magazine schedule. This is how professional mangakas do things.

Mangakas that publish monthly probably has more time than the ones who publish weekly, but I think you are not naive to think that they do everything in a few days and rest the rest of the month. You are better than that.
