The editors are willing to give Shokugeki no Soma covers. People were wondering if it would get cover for its anniversary when it got issue 39 cover, well, I think that it is going to get two covers until the end of the year, counting with next week's.
"We Never Learn" going well! *-*
My package with the volumes 1 & 2 is delayed due to Irma, but it is in Miami right now. :zomg

Well it has a colour page after all. What I'm looking at is the fact that Haikyu is in the bottom 5.
Conspiracy, obviously .

If it's in a major arc Soma, that's probably the reason.

I'm sure its a case by case basis but there is almost no "100% " xxxx"" in Jump. The relationship between the two can go from Tabata and his editor where its almost more editor driven where the editor is drawing out ideas from the mangaka and helping frame them to Oda and his editor where Oda has a treasure trove of ideas and a plot set in place and the editor is there to tell his opinions and suggest changes to parts they think are boring and need to be made more interesting and possible ways they can change it. The latter would look more like editor meddling though but in the end, its up to the mangaka to make the final call.
The Uchiha lore was definitely one of the worst parts of Naruto due to how prevalent it became but Kishimoto probably wanted for it to be as pervasive as it was. Yahagi might have helped with the structuring but all the ideas were probably from Kishimoto himself.
I agree. It's probably closer to a case-by-case basis. As for Yahagi and Kishimoto's plans regarding the Uchiha lore, I think I agree that Yahagi did most of the structuring and the ideas came from Kishi himself. What I think Yahagi did was act as a filter to Kishimoto, but it always felt like his editors post-Yahagi couldn't filter Kishi's ideas as well as Yahagi did. I felt both Yahagi and Kishi already had a great dynamic going on, and his editors after Yahagi couldn't keep up.

The last MHA volume that had a full week of sales in the first rankings was volume 13 which sold 264,367(not counting the OVA bundle), so that's good.

Tfw Smash sells more than Illegals.

Also that top 3 in the TOC is definitely something to behold. Makes me wonder if RxL and Dr. Stone are actually popular or if it's just more pushing. Dr. Stone I can believe because of it's easy appeal to kids with the cool pseudo educational vibe it has going on. RxL basically jumped from mediocre ranks to the top.

vol 13 had 6 days, this one had 7

but even with 6 it would have still sold more

Neverland sells more in 7 days than BC in 3 weeks (Black Clover #12 (21,296 / 149,552))

it should pass Gintama in sales next week (Gintama #69 (26,130 / 223,668)), next step after that is taking WT (World Trigger #18 (33,952 / 275,748))

RxL basically jumped from mediocre ranks to the top.
So just like early KnB?

Yuragi with 82k, is this good compared to the previous volume?
Has there been any increase or decrease in sales?
I believe that Dr. Stone will reach 100k in the third week.

I don't know, maybe I'm a nostalgic. But I still find those last rankings strange. In the last 4 weeks, Never, RxL and Dr. Stone have become the trio of the future. Neverland used to pick up the first position only when a big event happened, now it can do that even in transitional chapters. RxL and Dr. Stone got cover in a short time, something not so common for new series. If only one had advanced so fast, I'd understand, but all three at once? I don't know, maybe I'm a nostalgic. XP

And Haikyuu became a grandpa.

So Yuuna is improving a bit after the big drop last volume, still needs to improve more to reach earlier volumes' heights but it's something I guess. Should at least get up to 100k this time again.
Dr. Stone is also doing pretty well.

From the interview at Miura-sensei's autograph event in Taiwan
- His inspirations were Bonbonzaka Koukou Engekibu (weird choice, but after looking at it it seems right), Hell Teacher Nube, and DNA².
- He explains more about how the manga came to be but it was somewhat hard to figure out so won't post that.
- Karura's introduction was a bit difficult to do, apparently.

this reference went over so many people heads I'm disappointed
My Hero Academia version is cuter, so it is a win. XD
I really want the best for Eri... I think it would be a very good idea to introduce her to UA in the future. *-*

Well, the Mirio/Batman thing is not the only one in this week's MHA chapter, which looks suspiciously like something from an american comic-
It seems as if Overhaul's latest form was inspired in its design by the Symbiotes from Spiderman:
