MHA's finale was great, like the villains' VAs in this one, the dialogue and animation was on point. Always liked when anime staffs use either the OP or ED as an ost during the show as well. Sports festival was what really attracted me to this series but the next two arcs... future blessings to anime-onlys for what's to come.

I think Horikoshi's health problem is more serious than we thought. Maybe that's why the rankings have fallen, the editors know that his pace will not improve anytime soon. Maybe BnHA is neutral now, just like they did with World Trigger.

That's the kind of nuance it has and this week's chapter was also 17 pages so its longer than before but still not at the norm of 19 pages.

Though to be honest, even Naruto, OP and the like would take the occasional break around this time. Naruto took around 2 breaks back in 2003 besides the magazine breaks. HxH though was regularly taking breaks back then. In 2003, it was regularly placed in the back half of the magazine. Looking purely at the rankings, you would think it was in trouble. On the other hand, it was a million seller so it was in no trouble at all.

Kawada is supposedly 32-33 as he was said to be 30 back in 2015 according to a list compiled on mangaka ages on 2ch.

I've noticed on this forum that people are unsure of whether Furudate is a male or female. When I was flicking through the manga's preview on amazon Viz Media refers to the author as a man. Can we assume this is accurate?

I don't know about other people, but I never had any doubt that he is male.

which means he's 23 now

Kawada has a daughter. I don't think he's that young but it's possible.

How'd you find out Gotouge's age? (female, right?)
