Shudan was featured on Jump Police.

Its getting some publicity so I think it might last for a little while longer even if its at the bottom of the magazine. They obviously expect enough out of it to put it on TV.

Not WSJ, but Murata (from OPM) regularly streams his work. It's astounding that most if not all of the manga is drawn by hand. I wish more mangaka did stuff like this. The most we seem to get are random character drawing videos on Twitter like WNL mangaka.

Maybe Shudan's got a sudden high ranking in for a recent chapter, I imagine WSJ would know that stuff pretty quick.

We do have Jump Ryu for that. Almost all of them are really helpful to understand how skilled these mangaka really are.

This TV appearance was probably planned well in advance as you can't just decide to put Shudan on TV next week. Still, it shows there is some expectation that it will do well.

Hungry Marie is already canceled and Cross Account is probably going to be the next one, but there are 2 canceled series for 3 new series, the math doesn't match. We are all assuming that it would be Shuudan, but it seems it is not the case, SW#1 would be the next one, but according to you guys it is not ending either.... Strange...
Shuudan author really likes to live on the edge of the cliff, Dance-bu was the same and last very long...

Remember HxH just went back on hiatus and it took Poro's place earlier in the year so there's an extra open spot in the magazine right now. Even if it does end up returning in December that's still an extra space open until next batch.

That looks pretty promising for it's survival. I may give the manga a try.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. I don't want it to die either, but it's rankings are still pretty bad. This could just be a last desperate push from Jump to see if it takes off.

MC team played against one of the best teams from their district and won, then they fast forwarded to them winning the district tournament. Now the three main kids are invited to a youth training camp so that they can compete in a nationwide tournament to become the best junior league soccer team.

All I want to say is World’s End Harem is straight up for guilty pleasure and nothing else. Anyone who reads it knows. In the very 2nd chapter the agent for the mc wanted his kids and would of had sex if he was willing. Yuragi is simply so much more than fanservice. The cast of girls are endearing and the MC is light years better than your average harem mc, Raku for example. Ecchi is it’s selling point but we have to be careful with labeling ecchi crap when there’s series like World’s End for us.

It is like the childhood of talented soccer players in Brazil! :derp
Well, it will not make me excited about that precisely because of this, it maybe something very interesting for Japanese people or even American people, but it is nothing new around here. Take, for example, the story of Marta, the best female player to ever play soccer, her story is more endearing. You can see on The Player's Tribune, it is really inspiring. :zomg

Anyone who saw this week's Dragon Ball Super? they say that it's a weirdly good episode. What about you?

It was a special double episode that was nothing but 43 minutes of buildup to a new transformation for Goku which showcased the best animation the series has had since this season.....for 30 seconds. In short atypical Toei hype bullshit but hey at least it was better than the One Piece one last week which was an episode filled with nothing but flashbacks and the actual fight only taking up half of the second episode filled with more flashbacks.

speaking of DBS, next month both DBS & Boruto volumes #4 will release in the same day

Dragon Ball Super #1 (29,995 / 30,361)
Dragon Ball Super #2 (16,687 / 151,433)
Dragon Ball Super #3 (17,280 / 236,720)

Boruto -Naruto Next Generations- #1 (19,705 / 372,314)
Boruto -Naruto Next Generations- #2 (23,069 / 290,008)
Boruto -Naruto Next Generations- #3 (16,004 / 280,159)

one started big and falling the other started small and getting big
I think DBS will overtake Boruto

Dragon Ball Super is more of the same or it actually has something different? Meaning, there are fillers and the fillers are good? :derp

I thought the fight was gorgeously amazing. Art was on point with the ost and music as well. I've hated a lot of episodes of dbs but having these two were totally worth it. Best fight in the Dragon ball franchise imo
