Speaking about readaptations, it would be nice a Kinnikuman readaptation to new times.

More than anything else it would take an adaptation of the new chapters released from 2011 to today.

Issue #42 will be out officialy septembre 15th (sathurday). So tocs will be out september 12th (wednesday).
Issue #43 will be out officialy september 22th (sathurday). So tocs will be out september 19th (wednesday).

In two case, its because the monday (17th and 24th) will be public holiday in Japan.

-Onomi wanted to do a kendo manga. Only kendo manga we have ever had is Kurogane. Ah, the times of Ikezawa badmouthing Reborn and Medaka Box
-So if Onomi gets tired of New Prince of Tennis and comes back to Jump, it will be a fantasy manga.
-First time I hear there is a Prince of Tennis musical lol
-''I will come back to Weekly''. Mada mada dane.

The musicals have been running for well over 10 years now. Tenimyu is basically one of the franchise's main money makers. I think they're into the 3rd "season" (last I checked). The first "season" itself went on for 7 years changing casts many times. A lot of actors and whatnot got their start in Tenimyu.

With regards to him coming back, I don't think he actually will. I remember he said he would years ago and he's still not back. I don't know if he wants to go bck to this schedule.

Fun Fact: He doesn't actually use normal "manga paper". He uses doujinshi paper, which is smaller than normal manga paper but first just within the size for printing normally in the magazine. Every other mangaka draws on huge paper. This is something that's only permittable because he's such a huge-selling mangaka.

Just seeing the legth of Jump spokon

-Play ''forgotten and nobody cares about it'' Ball aka the longest baseball Jump manga has 201 chapters. Now Play Ball 2 is in Ultra Jump but only 30 chapters for now.
-Captain Tsubasa has 356 chapters. World Youth which was also published in Jump has 145 chapters. Total in Weekly Shonen Jump of 501 chapters (then all these continuations in Jump which can raise the total chapters of the entire franchise to +700. Is like saying Kinnikuman has 648 chapters, yet in Shonen Jump it had 387 chapters. BTW where is Kinnikuman being published now? Playboy magazine?)
-Slam Dunk has 278 chapters.
-Whistle (the less important spokon with anime by far) has 216 chapters.
-The Prince of Tennis has 381 chapters. New Prince of Tennis, published in Jump Square, has 211 chapters (if you want to count both together, 592 for now).
-Eyeshield21 has 333 chapters.
-Kuroko no Basket has 278 chapters.

Haikyuu has already 340 chapters. In original run, is only 42 chapters away to becoming Jump longest spokon, a feat that looks is going to be easily acomplished (if you want to count everything but only from Weekly Shonen Jump, Captain Tsubasa 501 chapters in Jump are still far; if you want to count the entire franchise, both Captain Tsubasa and Prince of Tennis are very far).

Depending of how this tournament lasts, I see Haikyuu reaching at least 430 chapters.
