The Level-5 game? The manga will be serialized on WSJ? Didn't know about this coming to the magazine.
Since it was announced such a long time ago, who knows if it's still coming to WSJ. It might not even get a manga anymore, just games and anime.

Edit: In the new Jump Festa trailer WSJ is at the end of the video. If there will be a manga, it could be in Jump+ for example.

don't forget about the new manga from Masaoki Shindou last year GFC winner
I wonder if it will be Count Over. That oneshot was too similar to Akame ga Kill for me.

Didn't know about Megaton Musashi though. If it gets manga, I see that manga going for + or Giga.

Actually I wonder if Black Clover's officially no longer one of the current pillars/face series/whatever they're called now. Neverland got one of the big slots in the group cover with Black Clover relegated to a secondary position.

I guess we'll see in the next couple covers.

It never really was? It seemed to be more of an instance where WSJ put it there hoping it'd grow into something big or until something big actually came along (which happened, aka TPN).

In terms of promotion, it pretty much was sort of a pillar. On group covers or the like, it was always scaled to the same size as One Piece, Haikyu, and Academia.

In terms of actual sales though, yeah it was never a pillar. I can see Jujutsu taking its spot on promotional material in the next year or so with its growth.

Black Clover is pillar if you considered Digital Sales. It's also Top 4 best selling anime of 2018

We have no data for digital sales, so I could say that Dr. Stone is a pillar if you consider digital sales, and it would be just as true as saying that Black Clover is a pillar because of digital sales.

Also the top 4 best selling anime is only on TV Tokyo, not on every channel.

Black Clover always appeared on the covers and all but it was more of a Toriko situation than anything. Neverland being there makes more sense considering that it's the 4th best-selling series on the magazine.

Black Clover isn't a pillar but it's of course successful as it is right now, even with the promotions not paying off (like Toriko, again) considering that it's like the 6th best-selling manga on the magazine and one of the best in japan. I believe that much like Toriko, it didn't reach what Shueisha wanted but is a significant and successful series either way.

BLack Clover is right under the star in the Holiday Tree cover, the place where ones eyes are naturally drawn too. For people to say it's advertising attention and focus has been suppressed, or that it is somehow not considered a bona fide success is utterly preposterous and simply poppycock.

It is not the same, We know that digital sales can at a maximum tie or slight exceeded print sales, so the maximum a Dr. Stone digital could sell, even at 100% is a very unimpressive 70K for a grand total of 140K in a volume, which is honestly unimpressive, at best the series is the next Medaka Box level performing which is pretty unremarkable and disappointing. BLack Clover selling at a maximum digitally puts it over both Naruto end of age levels and most of BLeach's volume per volume levels, a very remarkable and commendable performance.

Oh my god, you are trying too much.

Black Clover selling 700-800k per volume in digital?

That's not happening bro.

Reminder that despite what yearly Oricon sales tell you, One Piece has actually grown and recently has been selling 6 million units per volume (cause of the digital sales of course).

Since we're on the topic of Black Clover, I'm curious to see where people here would rank it in terms of worldwide popularity and presence compared to World Trigger and Toriko.

Black Clover probably on the same level of peak Toriko(not sales of course)right know. WT is only mildly popular on nips and almost non-existant in West.
