I wish Dr. Stone didnt let popularity get to its head, its like so different than what the first chapters were making it out to be. Surely they should instead be finding out how and why the world was destroyed not making a kingdom of science, a prelude to Weapons of Mass Destruction. Its like he saw the response to action and was like lets quadruple down on action and this miniarc and make it the entire manga.

Noah's Notes could suffer the same problem, as it will spend more time in the real world than the previous world. It needs to force them to only stay in the previous world.

I think it is necessary, the mangaka's doing all he can to captivate the attention of the readers and he did things in the most exaggerated bombastic way possible and it was effective. It's really important to captivate people's attention with the first chapter in one way or another. By creating that entire scenario, we get to see just how crazy the mc is and how he gives no fucks when it comes to his goal. We also get to know the gyaru more and because of the whole ridiculous over the top scenario we get the opportunity to have our main characters interact together. Even she's slightly crazy if you think about it, if she was fine going along with the whole scenario up until we reach the ending point of the chapter. I think our main characters have a wacky dynamic relationship going on and I want to see them do more crazy shit together. The mangaka's obviously also going for a thinly veiled fanservice route and it will be interesting to see what other creative things happen .

Overall, I'd describe this manga as the most over the top take on archaeology ever.

I personally ship the two main characters already and no one can stop me.

I Bet Noah's and Mirai's relationship will remain completely platonic, like it was said before, their dynamic is reminiscing to that of Neuro and Yako. No romance whatsover between them

Please, don't bring Neuro and Servant Number One into this. They are far more superior duo.
There will be romance once Ikezawa doesn't know what to do anymore in his manga.

If I enjoy a manga and I have a chance to talk about it in more detail, I don't see why not and I don't need to convince myself to like it, since I love it.

Edit: If you wanted some criticism, then it would have to be connected to the whole time-loop/end of the world thing, things are quite unclear and questionable when it comes to that.

I don't think I'm going to like NN, then. I just read 3 volumes of Neuro but I find the duo's relationship very meh.
What held me was more thematic and visual weirdness than them.

I'm sure you are talking about Yuragi, what an injustice! Everybody knows that people here have their purest intentions when reading the series, just for the plot.

Well, I read Yuna because the characters are pretty charismatic, they have some great interactions, the protagonist is pretty good, all the girls are also like that and the episodic feel that it gaves me is great. The art is beautiful and the ecchi is also a element that make my enjoyment with it but just for being ecchi isn't something that will grasp my attention.

To Love Ru is the bigger example where I just read it for Lala in the entire series but the manga (even more with darkness) did almost nothing to me for the rest and every new chapter was a drag since I only really liked one character and the stories for the major part were boring. And Rito is extremely boring as a protagonist.
