Maybe it's their final effort doing something they want before they die, like Manglobe with Gangsta.

I guess Gonzo can hope to continue to have work if the series somehow becomes popular enough that the committee decides for multiple seasons..

I dont know why people are guessing it will somehow take over BLack Clover's air spot. is tv tokyo really doing hz?

Well we're getting the anime visual tonight so let's wait for that.

The anime will most likely be bad but there's still a possibility that it can still help out the manga a lot. Like TG did.

Just thinking: when was last time Jump MC was an adult? Hard mode: No Toriko, no Gintama. Also, no Assassination Classroom (MC is an adult but rest of characters were high school students).
Does Neuro count? You could consider Yako the real protagonist, though.

It'll most likely go to NHK honestly unless Shuiesha is serious about making this a merchandising juggernaut or try it somehow becomes a hit with fujoshis we're looking at a cheap adaptation.

Aren't NHK fully stacked for this year though? They have their lineup announced, so I don't think it's them? It would make sense for it to air in BC's timeslot and to have Avex as the producer or it's going to air on a completely different network. Avex do pursue the standard merch plan.

That is if BC doesn't run for another year. The only other timeslot I can see it running is the one that has Monster Hunter Stories that airs before DBS now. If they're going to shove it into a late night slot then what's the point?

This leaves Kimetsu to Pierrot, Wit Studio, Mappa, and Neverland to Production I.G, Madhouse, Deen.

Didn't Eyeshield 21 sell well after the anime?

NHK-G has its lineup fully packed. NHK-E, where Rinne aired, doesn't have anything planned, as of now, after Major 2nd. I had a passing thought regarding Sumou going in Heroaca's slot but Ace Attorney just got a second season this fall.

I want at least one of the two to get a good adaptation... :(

NHK-E would make a lot of sense, since sumo is educational.

Darn, I wanted TimeBokan s3 to happen this fall, I guess Ill pray for it to happen spring...thereby pushing s4 of HeroAca to Fall 2019...no way you dont make s3 timebokan after it consistently does well on that one rating measure ann posts weekly.

Also kids don't like Sumo wrestling nowadays so trying to push it to a market that wouldn't be very interested to it to begin with wouldn't be the best option.

What is the last anime made by Gonzo? I totally forgot that this studio existed until this announcement.

I'd like Wit Studio for Kimetsu. Pierrot is awful and MAPPA hasn't really surprised me with anything.

I wouldn't rule out Toei. There's a chance for them to pick it up.

Last time I say this: THere is no such thing as a perfect anime/manga adaption and No such thing as perfect writing with that said its time to give up on perfection and be thankful for what we got. I am happy with any studio to adapt Jump Manga, but if you choose this see it as a negative then its a YOU problem not the studio's fault, Its YOU remember you can ignore this advice and carry on but Just remember if you are expecting a perfect adaption then you are in for a sad future. I hated Black Clover because I was stupid and Listened to other people talking how "Generic" and "Awful" it was but I saw Sharkbait was the only person who like it. There is no such thing as Blindly Liking something it's call being Positive. I don't post much I just Observe each of your comments and seeing a pattern. There is only constant Improvements not Perfection. Enjoy Life and don't take it seriously.

Wit made Owari no Serafu so Id be hyped, but Magus Bride is kind of one of the most boring adaptations Ive seen in awhile and seemed to have turned manga fans away from the anime...so I dont know if Kimetsu hardcores would want Wit.

Mappa seems CGI invested so I dont know if people want that.

I would think PIG would go for more HQ over picking something new.

I thought Deen is already involved for a spring and summer show...so unless Neverland anime is announced immediately and is rushed to air in Fall...then I dont think Neverland could be narrowed to that studio...

Id rather PIG x Madhouse for more Ace of Diamond rather than a NEverland anime. Only do Neverland anime to complete the adapt the whole manga in 1 12/24 episode show please.

Yes, I'd love it if Wit made the anime for Kimetsu. Mappa would be better than Pierrot... And Toei would be the worst case scenario, they'd butcher Kimetsu most likely and the same goes for Pierrot. Even if Kimetsu gets a garbage anime, at least it won't take away the manga.
