It'a Shueisha manga after all.
By that logic should we compare Jump series sales to Margaret series? Both are Shueisha. It'a Shueisha manga after all.
The Jump Comics label is much, much more important than the website it runs on, since it means bookstores will keep them with the other releases under that label to make people who buy WSJ series the target demographic. One punch Man is a Jump manga, but not a Shonen Jump manga, it is a Young Jump manga (Tonari no Young Jump to be exact) the only reason people associated OPM with Shonen Jump is because it is in English Shonen Jump and it uses the Jump Comics label on the tankoubon
saying that because it is a Shueisha manga is also weird, since Margaret and ribbon girl exist, these are also Shueisha magazines although a very different target audience demographic
We must also consider that the successful manga have an average life of 3-5, maximum 6-7 years, consequently a manga that today does not remember almost anyone as Tutor Hitman Reborn, with its 42 volumes, lasted by far Above average.Just relax and enjoy the anime/movie in July lol. You guys think too hard about the future.
I don't know what you're talking about but HQ and OPM sell more than MHA right now, so they will debut higher.
MHA already won in two days to OPM, we need to see the weekend ( saturday with anime of MHA ).So much expetaction in MHA.....
Nobody remembers Reborn!...? I guess nobody remembers D. Gray Man either. We must also consider that the successful manga have an average life of 3-5, maximum 6 years, consequently a manga that today does not remember almost anyone as Tutor Hitman Reborn, with its 42 volumes, lasted by far Above average.
40 and more volumes are certainly not the norm, indeed are only achieved by certain manga (mainly combat) very popular over time.
Even manga like Hero or Black Clover can now be considered new, being in circulation for more than two years, and in a while even Neverland ....
Reborn is still remembered in Japan with plenty of people, mostly female fans at this point, still tweeting about it and buying goods and wanting it to be re-aired. These aren't older fans as plenty of "younger" fans, as high-schoolers and 20s , are still interested in the series. We must also consider that the successful manga have an average life of 3-5, maximum 6 years, consequently a manga that today does not remember almost anyone as Tutor Hitman Reborn, with its 42 volumes, lasted by far Above average.

Sweet Summer child, six years is not a long time. Most of us still remember Reborn. Some of us thought it would never end.We must also consider that the successful manga have an average life of 3-5, maximum 6-7 years, consequently a manga that today does not remember almost anyone as Tutor Hitman Reborn, with its 42 volumes, lasted by far Above average.
A volume between 21-23, I don't remember which one, sold 623K in the half-yearly oricon and while still charting on oricon top 30 it hit 486K.At it's peak, what were Reborn's sales like?
