Nisekoi went through all 3 years. I think the third was the shortest but year two was when Haru and Paula were introduced so they at least did show past them as first years.

My condolences to whichever studio gets picked for Kimetsu no Yaiba if it gets an adaptation. I was curious about the manga and checked a few chapters. The art is too detailed especially with the clothes and has too many lines.

Edit: This looks like an animator's nightmare

The excess of details in the clothes is actually something that bothers me. It's cool in an illustration or double page, but in sequential fights it makes the storytelling a little confusing to follow.

I'm worried about how they'll adapt the character designs and the overall art style for animation. In the hands of the right staff and studio, Kimetsu can definitely work in animation. It depends if KNY will get lucky or not. I don't see why it wouldn't get an adaptation at this point.
