I'm a little confused but is this Jump Force game targeting exclusively the western audience ? because correct me if I'm wrong I don't think we are even celebrating the 50th anniversary over here it would be pretty misguided if they ignored japan all together in favour of the west

i dont understand the "targetting for the west ignoring jpn" claims when this ichigo, aizen and co news has only been reported in JPN Shonen Jump and not anywhere in english...the ad even says in huge font SJ50...only indication that shows they are mindful of the west is the existence of an XboxOne version since jpn xboxone sales are laughably nonexistant.

True I guess what makes me confused is people telling me the producer said " we made the roster with a world wide audience in mind" but I don't know what he means by this XD

That could be because it's a leak. The issue of Jump revealing Ichigo releases tomorrow so they aren't going to make an official release until then if they plan on announcing all the characters through English media.

even tho I hope this "world wide audience" thing doesn't act as some kinda Donald trump size wall if series that are extremely popular in japan don't get in, then again did they say how long this game was in development ?

Edit For example I'm not a fan of saint seiya ( don't like the manga or anime) but just because it wasn't big in the west doesn't mean it has to be cut from this game fact of the matter is its an iconic manga and very popular in japan, in fact many series that are getting their own museums for vol 2 and 3 is because they earned their spot in Iconic status in jump and none of that happen overnight mind you.

I think Saint Seiya is huge in Central and South America. I wouldn't put too much into the "worldwide audience" term, it's probably just marketing buzz.

Your probably right lol I mean I like to think this is still the 50th anniversary and I hope Koji Nakajima has that in mind.

'Worldwide audience' to me makes me think we probably won't get more characters from series like Luckyman or Otokojuku that nobody knows well outside of Japan, instead maybe getting more characters from the already represented big franchises instead having a big diverse roster (since I don't think there's many big series popular worldwide that weren't in J-stars aside from Death Note). I guess there's also Shaman King but licensing just got a little complicated for it in Japan. Maybe Yugioh too if they can figure out a playstyle.

We'll see MHA and Black Clover show up no doubt and probably an assist or story appearance or something from Neverland but otherwise I think they might a bit low on new series representatives.

Hopefully we can get at least get Tanjirou though (and maybe Nezuko too, at least as an assist), it'd be a nice tie-in to the upcoming anime.

Act-Age really does get better from here on out. The whole Death Island arc was done quite excellently in my opinion. I'm glad they decided to introduce some new side characters that actually added to the enjoyment of the series and development of Yonagi, unlike what happened to Noah's Notes where almost all of the new characters were bland and started draining the life out of the story

as awesome as it sound to have Toriyama, Hara, Kurumada, Morita, Egawa, Yoichi, Miyashita, Nakai in the same room and having them draw that cover in a massive collab I highly doubt they did that
