Those MHA movie spoilers are creating alot of buzz on twitter, ANN even wrote an article on it. Most buzz is on the animation, fights, and shipping bait. And so it begins.

Also Yuuna's ova... serious question Yuuna's VA did ****** or something before? Lol Jesus, listen to first 2 mins without looking at the screen. Good job.

I got around seeing a fancam of part 5's first episode shown at the event and it was amazing. I felt really relieved after seeing it since I thought it may be very different because of the huge staff changes. The animation was nice and directing was great as usual. I guess they trained their staff very well for this which may of explained the long wait.

Anyway, it's easily going to be my fav WSJ anime for 2018 and 2019 if it's more than 1 cour. MHA S3 felt over hyped for me and wasn't nearly as enjoyable as S2 tbh. Plus I'm a JoJo fanboy so I am a bit biased here. :p
That's interesting because I have sort of the opposite reaction. Despite going through the content at a good pace, it dragged for me. They even added some original scenes in the beginning but even then the direction was lacking. It was animated well but the storyboards were quite plain personally. Its only the first episode so I expect much more down the line but I fear having Tsubasa alongside this won't be good for the schedule and thus the animation will suffer especially considering the designs. That's fine though as long as the direction is good but it doesn't have the punch I got from the first episodes of past seasons. It might be better once the actual thing is released though.

Having these new comers and the director not being experienced as the previous ones is what worried me the most. I thought it won't have the same flair as the previous seasons and will lose that charm, which is why I felt really relieved after watching it. I didn't find the directing to be lacking but it certainly wasn't the best we've seen. I will admit it's too early to be fully relieved since just like you, I'm worried about the animation of the fights later down the road for the same reasons you mentioned. A split cour is the best decision and DP learned that the hard way with DiU.

Its the first episode. The first episode of every Jojo anime is the one that always stand out its everything after where you see the weight of the production collapse. That said the art direction was incredibly well done and managed to combine the best aspects of Part 3 and Part 4 while having the most faithful recreation of Araki's designs to date, animation was solid though this is DP so you can't expect much from them. Unfortunately Takahashi just can't match Suzuki's god tier direction so the first episode felt a lot more restraint despite going through 3 chapters worth of material but from what we've seen the pacing should be much better than Part 4. The biggest surprise for me was the voice work since I was pretty peeved that they replaced everyone that had voiced the cast from ASB to the EoH since they did a fantastic job especially Akabane but man Ono and Nakamura (as always) blew it out of the park with their performances in the first episode now to see how Toroumi and Yamashita (sorry trap fans) do. Overall much better than I expected but this is only the first episode.

Also Jojo fans are just as guilty as ovethyping things it doesn't make them any better even if they're right.:hee

I'm pretty excited about the one shot. I've been wanting something fresh from Kubo(not Bleach) for a very long time, so to see a romcom by him will be interesting indeed.

I'm not a fan of Kubos designs when it comes to girls personally they look a little to angular giving them an almost masculine look not to say that's bad, but if the oneshot is going to be an all female cast I'd prefer them to look at least a little more feminine.

Either that, or the blonde is really a guy. But a straight-up Yuri manga? That's pretty out of left field, for Jump.

We also had a trap main character (Nagisa from AssClass) although he wasn't gay. Maybe this is Jump's next step in that direction...

So you're saying this might be the start of the Kirara-fication of Jump? We'll soon have Jump-style K-on! if this is true, get the kids hooked onto Otaku series at a young age instead of a transition from mainstream series to Otaku series.

I agree with the designs & the voices surprised me as well. I still would rather much prefer Noriaki as Bruno.

Touche but wait until part 7 (if it even happens), that's where all the praise/overhype will reach it's pinnacle. :cheez

They will do double volumes for part 4, except the fact that there are no Jojoniums past part 3 :cookiestare

Alice to Taiyou color page looks great, as does the Yuuna color spread. I'm really looking forward to Yuuna's upcoming anime adaptation.

Can't you just post them all at once? It would be more helpful for everyone and it wouldn't feel like you're just spamming them.
have to slowly release content to maximum twitter reach I guess :(
