I hope you understand even just a little bit that does not make any sense to make comparisons since now with the digital sales all the manga sell less than in the past.

And I hope you understand that even with your heavenly 30% digital sales(which again is wrong to assume that every manga will follow this), BC volumes sell only about half of what Toriko did at its peak.
So @ChocoBar9 isn't wrong at all.

I'm fairly certain he did. People at WSJ may be harsh when it comes to serializations but they ain't bad humans to publicly humiliate an author. A successful one at that.

In Japan don't they have strict privacy laws in regards to recording someone's face (especially broadcasting that recording on TV)? If they showed his face uncensored I'm pretty certain he knew and agreed to being shown.

That's actually worse if he knew because now he has to relive the whole ordeal of being told he's been cancelled twice. That's even more cruel. I think he simply didn't know because they also showed that a mangaka was going to get serialized. I haven't seen the special but I'd think they caught him on his way out after he was told he's in Jump. Fujimaki may very well hold this against the editorial for quite some time.

Alice and Taiyo is going to be questionable, I dont know if having him overcome his social anxiety and such within the first three chapters is realistic or logical, hoping he runs or fails in chp3.

That's to be expected, Alice & Taiyou still has another chapter left and they're not going to pick up a new series with a Jump Start still running (not to mention Kubo's oneshot will fill plenty of space next week so they don't need to worry about the issue being short either).

I know people just seemed to expect them to add something last week despite being in the middle of a Jump Start run. This week having the Jump SQ series and Boruto makes it pretty long (even being technically two weekly series down)

It's quite possible that they approached Fujimaki and his editor, got their approvals and then aired this. Again, even more than all of us here, they (WSJ and Shueisha) would be aware of the consequences of airing such stuff without the approvals of the parties involved.

So ya'll need to stop overreacting until Fujimaki himself comes out saying they aired it without his permission.

These are reprints that are stored at a warehouse and go to stores as needed. This is still a good sign for a series but its a rung lower on priority than the ones above.

Act-age and Jujutsu are growing quite well. I think Jujutsu will show up in the top 50 Oricon but acto-age will only begin to show up next volume. Yuuna getting that reprint is also good. Heroaca is also getting quite a big reprint as well. 6 volumes are getting emergency reprints with vol 18 finally getting that needed reprint and another 11 are getting reprinted before the movie.
