Toriko had a movie in 2013, the year WSJ pushed it so hard with covers and whatnot because of said movie and game. But the sales just kept declining. From 2014 onwards, you could see that WSJ moved on from Toriko.
Let us also put the anime closed so that it could not be resumed in the future ....

Thinking about the titles which got their own space in Jump 3 exhibitions. Is mainly the titles who are in top-40 of historic sales (plus Otoko Ippiki and Harenchi Gakuen as two titles which made Jump possible) so:
-Why didn't Sakigake Otokojuku get its own room?
-Why didn't Katsura get an interview and a room with Video Girl and I's which together is like 30th place?
....
....
....
-Why did Sexy Commando get its own room and his author get an interview when Sexy Comando is literally in 70th place (Tar-chan has more sales, BoBoBo has more sales, Jaguar has more sales, etc).

The great mistery of Jump exhibitions for me.

Because modern people that go to the exhibit don’t know about these series

And the big boss at the top played dart to determine which older series get a room and Sexy Commando won.

Post 2000 already filled up hence bobobobovovovovo and jaguar don’t have one.
-my guess

When was last time a Jump title not called One Piece/Dragon Ball/Naruto/Bleach/HxH got an anime movie?

Toriko, D.Grayman, or Reborn didn't get a movie, did them?
Toriko got a movie before the anime came out and another in 2013...

An OVA isn't a movie. Lots of series get those before an anime is announced.
short films not OVAs, one is 28 minutes the other 40 minutes (all before 2013).
Total of 4 (2 short films 2 movies).

Does any have that youtube video Jump released when the MHA manga was at All Might Vs All For One.

It was similar to the promo videos they do for new series, but revolved around the fight. Can't find it on their youtube page

The anime basically killed itself. It's BD/DVD sales were non-existent since day 1, the anime changed major things from the actual manga to be kid friendly and then the movie came and was average at best and despite all this, the manga sales were on the decline in that year because it hit the peak the year before. That was definitely when WSJ went "Fuck it" and moved on because they pretty much pushed as much as they possibly could've with Toriko.

I don't like Toriko, but it reached a peak of sales that i don't think Black Clover will do.

The push went right.

While we're on the topic of Toriko, as @iceemperor mentioned, it simply didn't catch on. The reason is simple, imo: it didn't have a character the reader could connect with. It's a good manga with vibrant characters, but all of them had outlandish personalities that I don't think readers could connect with all that much. It's made even worse when the character designs look incredibly outdated.

I actually think outlandish personalities are fine as OP is full of them. The thing is though, you have to have an opening for the readers to enter into the world. The entire time I read Toriko, I didn't feel this opening. The story was imaginative but every time Toriko appeared, I pulled back a little. Komatsu however was great to the point where I can go and rewatch his stuff time and time again as its great to see.

Outdated character designs aren't a good argument anymore since JoJo reboot anime part 1 and 2 did great and allowed the franchise to have an international fan base and many memes.

Every time Toriko is being brought up in here it's either character designs or anime censorship that make it failed.

Toriko was the greatest push I've ever remembered in Shonen Jump. I mean, they put it all the time with One Piece and Dragon Ball aka the two big titans of Shonen Jump.

The designs they used for the anime are completely different from the manga also Toriko and Jojo were catering to different audiences.
