Wasn't this the manga that people accused of being a clone of Kenshin? Or was that something else?
It was and kind of is, but the mangaka is really good at drawing action and I like his atmosphere and character designs

It seems to me in great shape XD
Probably used the ten minutes a day that his back allows him to stand upright just for this photo :D

Is that the same idol group that he gave flowers to?
Yep and he sent some more to them again lol. Fanboy at its finest.

Hopefully he resumes hxh soon. Like 4 weeks soon.

At this point I believe he has his own schedule and he lets the editorial department know a couple months ahead that he's ready to publish again. He probably doesn't have his next batch of chapters ready yet to release. From past interviews we already know that he's super picky on dialogue and whatnot but the only thing is that every other mangaka has to do all that weekly while he has a much more free schedule, even if its plagued with health problems.

Still, I wonder how regular meetings with his editor go. I would imagine it would be similar to other meetings, meaning weekly but again he may not work at that pace so bi-weekly or monthly wouldn't surprise me. He might go and land a huge stack of names and begin discussing them with his editor. I do feel sorry for that editor a bit though as they have to keep track of all the events in HxH, which is huge, as well as their other series and have to tell Togashi whether a certain chapter name is interesting or not.

Wow Muhyo & Roji went from 0 to 60 so fast, incredible. The series should have just started off with the events of Episode 4 instead of the random stuff it did before. I cant even, after this episode. Just awesome.

I can finally see why its such a *celebrated* series of olde.

The photo reports are great but they are about 20% of the whole exhibition, I was in April at the 2nd exhibition, it had far more series and stuff to see than you can see in the photos. The Yu-gi-oh pyramid illusion, the Rurouni Kenshin animation layers looks so bad in the photos you can't see the cool effect. Yu Yu Hakusho, Draogn Ball and Slam Dunk had short films of manga frames with sound effects and etc..

Yep, I saw the volume 1 exhibition in that special 360º stuff the organisers uploaded to internet (it isn't there anymore). It was so cool to see Otoko Ippiki getting its own section. The photo report had way less photos than what I saw, I'll guess they weren't allowed.

I hope the organisers re-upload that ''online'' visit, and also they upload volume 2 and 3 in internet too.

EDIT: Speaking about Otoko Ippiki, I just found a ''guide'' http://www.ebookjapan.jp/ebj/content/sakuhin/8887/index.asp

Still, dunno who is the old man for example. Hopefully when the anime gets re-released in DVD this October, some way there will be english subs.

EDIT2: Found this in Youtube

Some stuff about the video I posted now:
-Is ordered by anime debut, not manga debut (Ring ni Kakero anime debuted in 2002 so you see it with Bleach. Same with Play Ball anime which was born in 2005. PD: Play Ball is the only 2000s Jump anime with no subs, which makes me sad).
-The video was posted 2 days before Muhyo episode 1, so it isn't in the list.

So Muhyo is Jump 88th anime, then Hinomaru the number 89, Neverland the 90, Kimetsu the 91, and WNL the 92. Only 8 titles left to reach the 100 (and Rokudenashi Blues won't be one of them :( )

The numbers in that video are boosted up a bit by including Dragonball and Naruto multiple times. It probably mostly evens out with the short gag series with no OPs to be included though I imagine.
