Just kidding bro. But your argument isn't making sense. So because they use a few illegal scans it shouldn't be a problem? It's still illegal lmao. That's like if I stole a few dollars from a bank, I shouldn't get arrested cause it was a "few". It might be petty but they expose themselves to this and should know what can come from it.
I assume it’s the early release that they can use as an arguement against them. Even game and movie reviewers have embargos they can’t really break if they want to keep going in the long term. Edited Manga has been under the radar until now, but there’s no reason it should be allowed when pretty much all other before-streetdate content on official platforms isn’t.
my point is that it’s such a none issue to even complain about. Maybe if it’s released before official release. But most of the big youtubers don’t seem to include actual pictures from the manga, unless they’re doing a discussion video(which usually uses images from official releases). Maybe the thumbnails, but most of the big youtubers use fan art in their thumbnails.
I think it’s a bit hypocritical to single one group out for something so small, when YouTube as a whole is a blending pot of using different materials from different media. I wouldn’t say Gaming Youtubers, or AMV Youtubers, or Drama youtubers should be removed when they’re using content from all over the place, so I feel like anime youtubers aren’t doing much different from them.
Plus, I read Edited Mangas from time to time, so I think it would be hypocritical of me to celebrate youtubers who get removed for doing the same thing
