You do realize your data is incredibly outdated right?
That why I said in the first sentence of my reply that you are free to provide any fresher information to support you claims.

And One Piece's merchandise revenue triple that amount it was during that time period. Hell your data for its manga is when it's adjusted print run was still bellow 4 million.
Just like it is now? It has been years since One Piece volumes' first print run declined below four million copies.

There's also the fact that you can't use one mangaka's adjusted income as the base for all of them because most don't publicly disclose that sort of information.
Mere rumours and projections are enough to keep this thread engaging in its make-believe manga analytics. So I'd think any tiny amount of private infomation disclosed is better than pure nothing to make estimated guesses abnout the presumably dire state of the industry.

Toriko just wasn't as big or influential as Bleach or Naruto were. Same reason hardly anyone said anything about Kuroko No Basket ending despite its mass appeal.
Bleach and Naruto basically lasted long enough (14-15 years) for mangaka who are right now in the magazine to have read while in school or college. So, they were influential and probably were inspirations to a lot of these people which a lot of people mentioned in the comments for Kubo in their own way.
Plus, at the very least, 15 years of a weekly series is deserving of its own recognition in WSJ.
Ofc, I wasn't implying Toriko needed more or just as much comments as those series.

So you willing post out dated information as evidence for nothing?

No? One Piece does not sell the same way it does back then. Its peak its long gone but it hasn't deteriorated.

You mean like what you're doing? Because apparently according to you every mangaka makes about the same as Satou. Considering that Shuuichi had to "retract" about what he said about not getting anything from the anime that's a very real thing that shit like that can't be publicly disclosed.

Now that Gintama is over what older series do you think is next to end, my bet is on Haikyuu and Soma

I believe Soma in a year more or less, the current arc seems final.

Food Wars and Haikyuu are the only logical old series that could end next.

Yuuna is in full endgame mode right now so it could end very soon. It'll depend on whether it goes back to gag chapters for a while after the final boss stuff though.

My Hero Academia has 17 million copies sold in Japan, 1 million in the United States, and the film reached 1.5 billion yen.
Had not it been already said?

Speaking of MHA's game in the earlier pages, the marketing for Black Clover's game compared to Naruto to Boruto shinobi striker and MHA:OJ (Naruto's performance was terrible despite it) has been absolutely garbage by Bandai. The game drops in 2 days and there's no ps store pre-order announcement. Some fans I've spoken to weren't even aware it's getting a game. Even while watching the TV Tokyo stream, I've rarely seen them advertise the game in commercials when it's not BC airing on the channel.

I wouldn't be surprised if it sells somewhere between 3-6k.

You say ? It seems to me that it was very publicized, probably passed quietly respetot to My Hero because of the fact that the manga and the anime are still little known compared to other titles ....

The success of mediocre manga like KnY and JuJutsu show that audiences are clammoring for decent battle manga. I have no clue what the EiC is thinking. He needs to be moved to a basement office.
KnY and Jujutsu in no way are mediocre. And act-age is quite good, even if it's numbers are quite below the others for now.

About the next manga ending, for me it's probaby Yuna considering how the manga is right now. The manga could end this year or in the beginning of 2019.

Damn, Jujutsu already on 50k. It's probably going to surpass Dr. Stone and WNL at that pacing on the next volume. Not that it's not normal at least for WNL when it's from a genre with more public and is also more promoted. Stone being below wnl when it's on a genre more popular and is more promoted is the weird thing.

For all the hype that Jujutsu is having, I expected more than 50k, honestly. Edt: wait, there was the typhoon, right?

Could someone post the comments section of last week's issue, please?

Lol, Jujutsu will be selling more than Dr.Stone in the next volume...

Dr.Stone really needs an anime.

Dammit Gorilla! You wasted far too much time and through the grace of the Shuiesha Gods they're giving you one last chance to end the series on a proper note. Don't mess this up!
