Loved that marvel-like intro of Jump logo, hope they use it more. Made a gif of it.
So the updated that, adding HxH, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Yu Yu Hakusho. The other time I saw that pic it only had DB, One Piece and Naruto.Loved that marvel-like intro of Jump logo, hope they use it more. Made a gif of it.

You... shouldn’t? Like if you actively HATE a series it’s obvious you shouldn’t buy its tie-in videogame. If I hate Black Clover, why should I spend money on his videogame?
That's the point.You... shouldn’t? Like if you actively HATE a series it’s obvious you shouldn’t buy its tie-in videogame.
Was someone earlier saying you should buy a thing if you hate it? I must have missed it. Threw me for a loop. That's the point.
At this point its not that many people hate it but more that quite some people don't care about it. They advertised the game during Heroaca before the next episode preview just last week. People, even fans, might simply not wanted to buy the game. But this is off topic.Im just say that logically the game will be wanted principally by the fan of the series.
If a person didn't like BC why he should buy the game ?
And many people didn't like BC.
Fujoshi powerOne thing to wonder is why Jujutsu is rising meteorically while Kimetsu, a series in a similar vein, took a while to reach current Jujutsu levels. Jujutsu volume 2 might show up for a 3rd week on Oricon (while Stone and Bokuben won't, probably), and even if it doesn't it'll be past 80k next week. It may very well overtake Stone next volume. I wonder what caused this explosive growth for one series while the other slowly climbed to its current level.
Both Kimetsu and Jujutsu have similarities but I feel like they appeal to people in different ways. Kimetsu has a historical tragedy vibe, filled with action. One thing to wonder is why Jujutsu is rising meteorically while Kimetsu, a series in a similar vein, took a while to reach current Jujutsu levels. Where did Act-Age catch on? Every volume sold less than 20k copies and 2 of 3 volumes didn't even chart. Most trash isekai manga sell more than it.Interestingly enough, I think Act-Age has some similarities to Jujutsu and that's why it also managed to catch on.
The book rank.net estimates made me look at it in a better way. If catch on is too strong of a term, then you can say that it is growing in popularity.Where did Act-Age catch on? Every volume sold less than 20k copies and 2 of 3 volumes didn't even chart. Most trash isekai manga sell more than it.

If the checklist thing is true, then why isn't every new manga in Jump successful if it's as simple as "going through a checklist" of what's popular.I wouldn't say there is a whole lot to go into what Jujutsu's appeal to modern audience is because its essentially goes through a check list of what's popular rather than becoming popular on your own basis. Kimetsu became popular on the basis that people dug what Gotouge was doing with it since on the surface it doesn't try to appeal to anyone and plays things by the book so already it alienated a portion of the audience but it caught on. Of course this doesn't mean that either are better than one another but rather one just pulled in readers faster while the other took longer.
All 3 volumes are in top 500 shoseki daily ranking for at least a month now (i've checked from the release of volume 3 to 9/19) so i doubt they sells <20k. There were also 1 emergency reprints for vol 1-2 and the one iceemperor reported yesterday, non-urgent reprint?Where did Act-Age catch on? Every volume sold less than 20k copies and 2 of 3 volumes didn't even chart. Most trash isekai manga sell more than it.
