Wow that Hinomaru first ep was well beyond what I was expecting, both pacing-wise and animation wise. Maybe this will actually be half decent after all. Super impressed considering all it had against it. Whether it can keep from falling apart remains to be seen though.

No split seasons . Prepare for a lot of outsourcing. I'm sure the anime will still be great/enjoyable but it'll be better if it was split. I don't get why they won't do it either. The production committee is wack.

That was a good first episode for Hinomaru Zumou.

Didn't expect that, it doesn't have Production I.G sakuga level, but its not bad.

They did a very good job with Part 4 in series composition aspect, the only problem with pacing was the 3 arc/stands they decided to put together making them happen in parallel in some late episodes. Part 5 is shorter and 39 is fine in my opinion.
First episode was great, the idea of CGI soundeffect - awesome!

Part 4 was handled well but I remember quite a bit of derps (which were fixed in the BDs). I dont mind 39 episodes count but it seems to be continuous rather split. A lot of stand battles happen one after another and these stand battles are fan fav's. I thought we would've gotten a split season that way we get better animation and production schedule goes smoother.

Part 3 was handled that way (sure it was dragged out) but the animation was better than part 4.

Since finally Maeda is in Ore Jump Collection (which somehow gives me pain since it reminds me Rokudenashi Blues anime for never), I've decided out of boredom to do a pic of Jump main characters from the most important titles (and yes, Mazinger Z is a fanart one made by one Discord pal). And yes, for me Play Ball is a title with vital importance.

The first episode of Hinomaru Zumou was really great. It's a love letter to mid 2000's Shounen anime.

There are currently 3 different anime of series from this magazine airing on the same day. Granted Muhyo's a late Summer series and only has a couple eps left I think but still, that's not too common aside from sometimes on Sundays when Toei's had multiple running.
